Though the property is old but it's in prime place due to its proximity to the railway station. Great place for company meetings. Fast service. Decent food with decent portions. Courteous front desk. Bathrooms are cleaned every day but the fitments are old hence don't provide the aesthetic look as desired. Though they work wonderfully well. I stayed for 4 days..paid on the last day . They certainly identify their guests!! Overall value for money in capital city of U.P.

Rooms are big and spacious, kept neat and clean .. although decor and interior is quite old. Washroom was again clean but old. Service staff is polite and helpful but service was slow, maybe bcoz of the Mahakumbh rush in every nearby city as well. Can't quite elaborate on the location as this was my first time to Lucknow. There are some areas of drastic improvement hence 4 stars but still quite good.

Typical UP type hospitality, booked a room on gobibo for one night with my wife. I gave the id card of both of us. The reception guy checked it for almost 5 minutes and asked about my relation with my wife. I told she is my wife then he looked awkwardly and asked to produce id where husband name is mentioned. I then given him the soft copy of Id. The point here to say is when i told him she is my wife, he looked very awkwardly. I drove 550 km from delhi and see this kind of behaviour. This happens only in UP, rest of India is very toursitic place. Just avoid to stay here, located in very congested area. AC was somehow working. Hospitality is worst.

Being a solo traveller,this place was the best ever!! When you enter the place,you can feel the positive vibes around the property. The staff are so friendly and always there to help. The Staff arranged a tuk tuk & the driver became my guide & every place was explored & experienced.(for an additional charge which is worth every penny)and like one says, When in Rome, do as the Romans do & I did the same in Banaras The room is so neat and clean...the bathroom is spacious with 24 hours of hot water. The menu was just so light and simple for the stomach...Morning Breakfast was light & just right for the stomach Overall,my 5 night stay @ Stay Banaras was awesome...and for a traveller like me...wherever I go,end of the day I need a nice bed,bathroom & quite place.Stay Banaras is a perfect place for all of it. I wish Stay Banaras and their team-Good luck and be the best I will definitely return next year & I hope to get the same Musafir room
