Holiday Inn Lucknow Airport, an IHG Hotel

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Lucknow, and I must say it was my worst experience ever with any IHG hotel. Being a Diamond Elite member, I had certain expectations, but unfortunately, none of them were met. 1. I had booked three rooms, with two of them under triple occupancy. However, when I requested an extra mattress/bed, the staff demanded additional charges, which was neither ethical nor logical. If the booking is made for triple occupancy, an extra bed should be provided without any hassle. 2. Despite being a Diamond Elite member, I received zero recognition or benefits. No welcome amenities, no room upgrades, and no special treatment--something that is standard across other IHG properties. The staff didn't even acknowledge my status. 3. The refrigerators in all three rooms were non-functional, and despite repeated complaints (at least 5-6 times), no one came to fix or replace them. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable for a brand like Holiday Inn. 4. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay, and I will never book Holiday Inn Lucknow again. IHG hotels are known for their hospitality, but this property completely failed to uphold those standards. I strongly advise fellow travelers to reconsider staying here if they expect good service and value for their loyalty.

The location of the hotel which is just 3-5 minutes away from the airport that makes me vote for this hotel.|Apart from that Lucknow hospitality is always awesome. This time I got chance to meet some staff members of the hitel of whom I must give reference. The first person I met was ANURANJAN from Bihar(laundry section). I found him very Humble, Polite & Accommodating. From IRD Chef TANMAY for his delicious treat. And also knowledge of what food is best at what time.|From IRD again ANKIT CHOUHAN very soft spoken and down to earth boy. |Last but not the least a girl from West Bengal Ms. Chandrima( Restaurant)with pleasant personality. She was ready to help all the time. Very well mannered, hardworking & nicely trained by her business school for her profession.|I wish all of them very best of luck & looking forward for another stay in the hotel.

I recently staying at Holiday Inn Lucknow, and I must say that my experience was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the front desk team went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in. This was my third stay at Holiday Inn Lucknow, and it wouldn't be fair if I didn't appreciate the staff here. A special mention to Miss Karuna Dhanwani, Miss Simran singh, and Kunal-their professionalism, and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable. They were always ready to assist with a smile, I genuinely appreciate the effort they put into making each interaction pleasant. The hotel itself is well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and great amenities, but it's the exceptional staff that truly sets it apart. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lucknow and look forward to returning soon. Thank you, Karuna, Simran, Kunal, and all staff of holiday inn for making my stay so special!

Dear Team I had a pleasant stay at HI Lucknow. Warm welcome at the front desk. I would like to thank the chef for preparing the dish for dinner to my test and requirement. Sorry forgot the name . Also thank all the service staff in the dinning hall for their willingness to help and care. My special thanks to Mudrika for her guidance and resolving my cab booking issue. Stay was good and we got an upgrade dlto a Suite due to our Elite status on Day of our 3 night booking. We had a bit of an issue when we checked in but Mohit the FOM came forward to assist and then addressed our concerns and on Day 3 offered a late check out. So overall it was a comfortable stay. Only feedback is Reception staff to be trained better to handle and recognize Platinum Elite members as per IHG norms.

Enjoyed the buffet at Viva -All day Dining. The chaat was very nice and exceptionally well made. Chef Kuldeep was very nice and took personal care to look into the food. The buffet spread is fine. The dessert section had a nice selection of local as well as other desserts.

From the moment of check-in to the end of my stay, Shagun displayed exceptional professionalism, warmth, and efficiency, making my experience truly enjoyable. Shagun was extremely courteous and attentive, ensuring that all my requests were handled promptly. Her welcoming attitude and willingness to go the extra mile made a significant difference in my overall experience. Whether it was providing recommendations, addressing queries, or ensuring a seamless stay, she demonstrated a high level of dedication and hospitality. The hotel was well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, and a pleasant ambiance. However, it was the outstanding customer service, especially from Shagun, that made my stay even more memorable. Her friendly demeanor and commitment to guest satisfaction reflect the high standards of Holiday Inn. I truly appreciate the efforts put in by the team and would highly recommend Holiday Inn to others. Shagun, for making my stay a delightful and hassle-free experience. I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. To begin with, upon check-in we were simply handed a key without any explanation of where our room was located. We assumed it was on the first floor, only to later discover it was on the tenth--no one accompanied us or provided any guidance. Additionally, although we had booked and paid for accommodations for three guests, the room was stocked with toiletries and amenities meant for just one guest. This oversight made us feel undervalued right from the start. The issues didn't stop there. We experienced an unusually long wait for our luggage. Despite calling the reception several times, there was no response, and I eventually had to go downstairs myself to request assistance from the staff. The final straw came in the middle of the night when we requested a basic blanket. We waited approximately 45 minutes, and when I followed up, the reception staff was not only unhelpful but outright rude. I asked to speak with a manager, and instead, I was met with a senior staff member who began screaming at me--an utterly unprofessional response that left me unable to sleep. Overall, this stay was nothing short of a nightmare. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience and hope that future guests receive a far better level of service.
