Hotel Malik Residency Kanpur

I've been to many hotels in my life and this is undoubtedly the worst amongst all of them. This is not a blatant criticism, I'll mention the points that make this property a bad choice for stay or events: 1. Mostly locks are broken in this property, and I don't have a clue why? 2. The Switches are broken, some electrical lines are wide open. Moreover, In my room the toilet seat was also broken. The TV setup box was hanging like anything. Nothing professional for how much they charge for a room. 3. Talking about the staff, I won't go into much detail but all I can say is that these people need to learn a "Hotel Management 101" class. The staffs are rude and don't give a heck about the comfort of the guests. I felt like they were the guests and I'm from the hotel. 4. The breakfast here is below average to average with semi professional level of cooking. Sometimes the curry doesn't have enough salt and sometimes it's entirely bad. I don't post negative reviews much because I believe everyone can improve with time and, try to be as constructive as possible but the staff behaviour compelled me to do so.

Me and my family were returning from Maha Kumbh Mela,2025 and this was our only option remaining as we were extremely tired and it was too late. and we didn't regret staying here. the staff was humble and kind aswell as the receptionist. Great!

Booked wedding stay for all my guest in malik residency. Had a great experience in this hotel as rooms were clean and food was excellent.. Rishi(Manager) was very helpful and cooperative, had listen our each and every request and did the needful. All my guest were happy with the stay. Thank-you so much for complete arrangement.

I recently stayed at Malik Residency, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Several issues made my stay uncomfortable and disappointing. Firstly, the locks in the room were not working properly, which raised serious security concerns. Additionally, the washroom commode was broken, making it extremely inconvenient to use the facilities. The room lighting was very dim, giving the entire space a dull and unpleasant atmosphere. The air conditioner had not been serviced, leading to poor cooling and an uncomfortable stay. Moreover, the hooks in the room were broken, leaving no proper place to hang clothes or towels. To make matters worse, the staff was unhelpful and indifferent to these issues. Despite bringing these concerns to their attention, there was no real effort to address them. Overall, my experience at Malik Residency was quite disappointing. I would not recommend staying here unless these basic issues are resolved.

Review of Hotel Malik Residency, Kanpur I had an extremely disappointing experience at Hotel Malik Residency, Kanpur, primarily due to the appalling behavior of the reception head, Mr. Shahid. His rude and unprofessional conduct completely ruined my stay. Instead of addressing guest concerns politely, he indulged in useless and arrogant talk, making the entire interaction uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the hotel charged an incorrect tariff and argued endlessly when questioned about it. There was no transparency or accountability, which was highly frustrating. Standing at the reception felt intimidating and unwelcoming, as if guests were being judged or threatened. The environment lacked any sense of professionalism, making the hotel an unsafe and unsettling place to stay. I strongly urge everyone, especially families, to avoid this hotel. The atmosphere is not only unpleasant but also scary. This is not a place where you'd feel comfortable or cared for. Think twice before considering this hotel - it's simply not worth the trouble.

not a good place, before 30 days i booked delux room for my guest, at the time of check in they alloted me super delux room, because delux room was not available. After 6 hours they told me to that now you have to change your room else pay difference of room & that was just double amount. I told him, that now what reason for room changing should i say my guest. It is your fault, you should be bear it. Mr. Rishi mehra, start shouting. his behavior was like cheap type, no sense to how to deal customer. It is new style to trap customer & start shouting when customer refuse to make extra payment. Third class cheap type .

Rooms were musty and pretty shabby. Bathroom was reasonably clean. Towels smelled good. AC barely worked. Wifi was weak to nonexistent. Watchman was very kind but other than that I would not recommend or return.
