Hotel Gagan

I visited this hotel few days back. I stayed here for few days. There are many improvement areas in this hotel. Like- NO dedicated parking . You need to find the space on the road to park your vehicle. 1- Lift was not working and it was not repaired at least till the day I left. And I found that nobody was worried about this. 2- stairs were not having supporting handles or grills. If you have old relatives or kids and unfortunately they slipped, nothing is there in the wall to hold. They will certainly get hurt. 3- Intercom was not working. 4- All lights in the room and bathroom were not functional, my wife had to use mobile phone's light to get ready for function. 5- the housekeeping boy was angry when we asked to change the bed sheet . 6- Staff should avoid eating Gutkha. Why I am mentioning these points because if charges are near by 1000, for each day, the services also should be in the same way.

I made booking in feb 15 for nov 8 I made advance 20,000 . Before paying advance I didn't get any cancellation policy or performance invoice . After paying advance they didn't gave any receipt. On 22 feb I called for cancellation of booking because of some issue . They told advance is non refundable. Even requesting a lot they denied that. I told okay adjust that amount in one of your branch then also manager denied . I told to cut cancellation charge and refund because I was cancelling booking 9 months before they denied . Front office staff behaviour very rude . I don't want to book property kindly refund back .

Cool no nonsense place to stay. Rooms are good economical and staff are polite. I stayed there for 5 nights and me being new to Kanpur, the manager helped me search good places to have food and roam. He actually was so genuine that upon ordering a particular dish in my dinner one night, he told me "Sir, since you are here only till tomorrow, you should rather order this dish from there (another very popular food joint). Ours is good but the one they prepare is best, so you should rather try it from there". A small gesture from him, which actually won my heart. The railway station is about 20 mins in busy traffic by Uber. You all going for a moderate but comfortable stay in Kanpur may give it a shot

They love if you pay in Cash and if not then get ready for a Dharamshala treatment, even that might be beyter than this place. Not a good hotel for enjoying you live in a dharamshala than live. If you want to eat something special oil is free in your special dish noo need of water. Tap water is served to the customer

never visit this hotel please especially couples !!! (OYO 10991 Hotel Gagan) There will be 3 4 people as receptionists not 1 & ll talk you like Super Boss. checkout time asked me to give my mobile to them so they can do good rating. i denied to give mobile so asked give 395 Rupee or good rating, i called OYO help line but they also could not help me . After that i paid 395 rupee & came out. And 1 more thing Really i am getting laugh to tell you guys... there was big mouse inside room ,,,, and mouse enjoyed 1 slice of Pizza :-) #Room no 104 #OYO

I had a corporate booking for an entire Month for two rooms at this place. The Reception Manager has no etiquette. Every BEDSHEET was TORN from a place or other. Don't expect a room cleaning service until you remind them twice about the same. They will go down to the maximum cheapness and strategy to get the payment in cash from you. And if you are going prepaid, they will make you feel that you are living for free.

Hotel gagan is the best hotel i have ever visited in kanpur. Hotel staff behaviour was very good and polite. I had no issues while check in and i got all the facilities as mentioned in oyo. I am extremely happy with the services of the hotel. I would like to visit again in hotel gagan soon. Thanks to all staff and reception person.

Not worth of rent paid. Bedsheet was not properly cleaned & after complain also ,cleaned bedsheet was not provided .No food arrangement & I have to book from outside. Noarranement of hot water done during stay period of 12 hr.I BookedI through OYO,but advice not to book for any inconveniences.
