Chandrika Residency

First of all I would like to mention the owner who was very helpful throughout our stay. We stayed for a week while visiting Prayagraj for some work. The place felt like being at home away from home. With a small garden and functional kitchen the house becomes perfect. A good owner was an added amenity for us. He helped us going out of the way to providing us details about the area of my work and even gave me his Scooter for some of my work which made my life a lot easier while commuting through the city. Thanks a lot Rigvendra, we will definitely visit again.

Amazing Stay! Whenever I visit Prayagraj, I would love to stay at this place. It's in a great location, peaceful, and free from any chaos. Everything you might need is available within 0.5 km. More than anything, the host/owner is amazing--extremely welcoming and helpful. I am truly grateful for my stay here and would love to return whenever I visit Prayagraj.

We a group of four had recently gone for the mahakumbh snan in pryagraj and stayed for a night at chandrika residency which is ideally located in jhusi which is 3.2 km from sangam. We were travelling with our own vehicle so the first thing I would like to share is parking which we got inside the compound of the premises safe and perfect. Secondly the accommodation was a two bedroom place with kitchen which we didn't use but it can be used if needed rest all was fine the neighborhood was silent there is a veg restaurant nearby hot water in bathroom was good I think there was nothing to be complained about over and above Mr. Rigvendra (owner) though we didn't meet face to face but he truly guided us very well through out the stay my overall experience at chandrika residency was decent and i would definitely recommend others to opt if they are visiting prayagraj.

Chandrika Residency is a great accommodation for a family willing to spend time in a quiet location in Jhusi, Prayagraj. The owner of the house was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed at the ground floor of the bungalow. It has a large hall and a bedroom, both equipped with double-beds and air conditioners. The hall is also equipped with little sofa and a tea table, a flat screen smart TV with WiFi network. There is a bathroom with combined toilet and is equipped with geyser. There is also a kitchen which is shared with the owner, if he is available at that time. The kitchen is equipped with gas, gas stove, refrigerator, and basic kitchenware which makes is very convenient to cook and enjoy homemade food. Only vegetarian food is allowed to cook and eat inside the house. There are several grocery stores, dairies and vegetable market nearby. There is also an additional room which is equipped with a washing machine with ample space to dry the clothes inside and outside the home. There is a daily house cleaning service available. There is a little garden outside with several Tulsi plantations, marigold flowers, as well as some vegetables. Overall, I highly recommend booking the Chandrika Residency for home-like stays at very affordable price.

Had a comfortable and pleasant stay. Parking space also available. Jhusi triveni ghat is nearly 3 kms from the place. Must visit with family.

Nice, comfortable stay very close to Sangam, 35 min walk. We were able to do Shahi snan and also saptami snan.

My parents stayed 4 nights for Mahakumbh. Good rooms and a great host. Very helpful. Definitely recommend.

The basic infrastructure was satisfactory, and the neighbours offered excellent, selfless support. However, the owner's negligent service turned our stay into a frustrating ordeal. Despite notifying him of our early check-in, the rooms were not cleaned beforehand, and we faced unclean toilets, stained bedsheets, dust, and a lack of running water, which took over 10 hours to fix. The lighting was poor, only one bedroom had AC, and the 500-litre water tank was insufficient. Drinking water was chargeable, and the sofa bed was uncomfortable. There were no lockers, only locks managed by the owner's staff. Despite these issues, the owner dismissed our concerns, demanded full payment, threatened a negative counter review, and mentioned of future customers to pay in advance, showing a troubling lack of accountability and service quality.
