The suite room was quite spacious but not maintained well. Needs to be taken care as property is very big. Food was good and staff was very helpful. Cook prepared food though his time was over. Manager also helped us with finding location.

Worst experience .. worst room ever I have stayed at. very poorly maintained place. The rooms are bigger in size, but bedding is dilapidated, bad furniture. There is no wardrobe
Property is really good but not at all properly maintained. If maintenance is done, the property can have great prospects and can be a good source of income for tourism department. Staff shortage so someone very rarely at the reception or for service. Only few people are staying here. Only one room occupied other than the one I occupied. Rooms are good sized but need to be cleaner. Restaurant is expensive but not at all clean. Dishes specially made for you so takes time for preparation.
Property - Poorly maintained, Unorganised, maximum outdoor lights are not working, seems like a ghost house. Room - Stayed in AC Exe room 202, Beds are broken, mattresses are hard like stone, bed sheets and pillows are stinky and having lots of stains. AC also broken, very noisy, you can see the ac running but cannot feel it, Found bed bugs in wooden chair, All furnitures are terrifically very dirty. Bathroom towels and utilities are old and mostly broken. There is no power backup for ac during power cut, which is very frequent and frustrating. Hotel staff - They are very unprofessional, lacking basic hospitality, they just handed over the key and didn't give any assistance to reach there. Room services are zero.
The hotel has not been maintained well. The real hotel looks worse than the Google photos. Worn out paint exterior, rooms have water seepage, mattresses are thin. Rates seem to be comparatively more expensive in relation to other hotels in the vicinity. Credit where due: room sizes are larger than any nearby competitor.
This is a good budget hotel at a good location in the city. Rail station is within 1 km. Not up to the mark for stay with family. My room was clean but it was a mess outside. Room service needs to be improved. The number of stuffs seems to be very less than what is actually required.
I stayed back in Jan for 2 nights. Jhansi was the first place in India where I tried out the backpacker method of not pre-booking a hotel until after I arrived in a city. Seems like Jhansi was the wrong place for that kind of adventurous thinking. It didn't take long to realise that there's not many hotels available for tourists.||||When I arrived, the receptionist told me there were no rooms available. There was a tourist office next door and decided to ask them for help as I had given up on finding something on my own initiative. It turned out that the hotel was run by the state government and there was a room available. The receptionist just said the hotel was full to avoid the extra paperwork.||||I got a double room, which was clean and functional. About what's expected of a government run hotel. The mattress was firm with a thin blanket. There was no AC in the room, but that was fine as the weather was neither hot nor cold. The bathroom was spacious, tiled all over and functionally clean. The shower worked fine and there's even a bucket for those who like their showers Indian style. The two downside about the bathroom was the window, which didn't have a screen for mosquitos and the mosquitos that made their way in. The door of the bathroom closed fully, so I had to keep it closed to prevent the mosquitoes from entering the room.||||Overall, the hotel is reasonable value for money, although I stayed because I had little choice. I didn't think much of the initial attitude of the receptionist. The room was clean and functional.
A very poorly maintained place. The rooms are supposedly refurbished, which are bad. The bedding is dilapidated, bad furniture. The bathroom is very mediocre. There is no wardrobe. Surprising the deluxe rooms are slightly better than the executive rooms. When you compare MP tourism hotel to this there is sky and Earth difference. MP tourism guest house is heavenly.
