We loved the rooms and how clean the rooms were when we came in. Everything was arranged nicely. It was a family wedding and the basement was perfect for these type of events

Very good hotel with indor and outdoor banquet facility for special occasion/ celebration. Rooms are cosy with modern gadgets for comfortable stay.

I stayed here for two days to attend a function at the same resort. The stay itself is expensive (like you are staying in one of metros), but there is no service. Rooms were ok sized and clean. Fridge were kept off, supplies were missing. Toilet roll was too small for even one person for a day. Hand soap was empty. The service staff wouldn't arrive till 9am and restaurant would open after 9am as well. You can get bed tea only if you sleep till 9am and can visit the restaurant downstairs. There are only two floors and limited rooms that are for the parties. So if you want to stay here, the service is non existent for obscene prices. Coming to the party part. We had engagement ceremony for my family here and the food was surprisingly good (this is total opposite of the food that we ordered in room day prior). Hotel is understaffed, not just to cover the service off hours, they had very few people attending during the day. The reception and restaurant managers were argumentative. One of my family member asked for a bellhop, but instead of saying bellhop they said waiter and the manager became argumentative and said "waiters are needed in restaurant and cannot come to help you" while he clearly understood that we needed bellhops to carry the luggage. He kind of stayed rude and argumentative throughout my stay though. On the day of ceremony, the function was booked and they started cleaning the hall when the guests had arrived. When confronted he argued that the lunch was booked for 1 so they wanted to wait will 12. Now this place is catering to parties and ceremonies and not hosting lunches so this argument was pretty lame. This place is clearly for show off. Be dazzled by the colors and lights, and do not expect curtesy and respect (unless you are big shot). Food is good, service is sub par for the prices. I might consider this place for next time after discussion with the MD about the staff and their training. I don't need two three managers in blazers who don't know how to communicate but rather someone educated in service business. I will never consider this place for stay even of they charge half the price on Aboda.

GSR is one of best place on Ramghat road with 5 star experience with best service and better resturant, it good for a high class wedding or functions. But only one thing is not okay with this, it's location. It is very far from city and there is no much variety in restaurant.
