Best Home stay experience during Printpack 25 food is really great

I have been visiting tapovan regularly. Outstanding accommodation. Very airy and sunlit rooms. It is so relaxing to sit in the garden and enjoy a cup of tea. The staff are neatly attired in uniforms. Food is at par with the best of restaurants in town. Courtesy, magnanimity, cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep at its best. The decor and paintings of Army's battle campaign provide a patriotic touch. Just what you would expect from an establishment run by a dedicated and diligent Colonel from the Indian Army. No wonder it is difficult to get this place at short notice.

We stayed at this place multiple times, and here are our observations. The food is tasty, but very small cups are used for the tea which leaves one for wanting more. Tea is not provided with breakfast and is charged extra if one wants it. Rooms are generally okay, but we found plenty of dust on bed backs, TV remotes, bed side tables, lamps, etc. The dustbin in the room was also not emptied after previous checkout and had hair and cigarette leftovers. We also found lizards in the room and in the bathroom, along with a frog in the bathroom. There is a TV unit with Tata Sky in the room, but that's useless as all the popular TV channels have not been subscribed and thus the TV is only a show piece. Service provided by house help Vijay is excellent. He is very courteous and soft spoken. He is always ready to help. During our stay he was the only employee so he was taking care of everything from cleaning the house to cooking and for everything else, which was not good and the property owner should consider hiring more staff to reduce work load on Vijay. The price of lodging and food is at par with a 3 star hotel, but the overall experience needs to be improved.

I just feel like home here. All the facilities provided by them are excellent. Location was good with neat and clean rooms. Must stay once.

Excellent Stay At Tapovan. Its Bungalow Of Ex Major From Indian Army. Very Well Maintained. Good and Hygienic Food. It feels like home. Very close to India expo. Will definitely recommend to others. Caretaker of the house is also very good and polite. Always ready to Help.

Very clean place to live. I came from the USA and had some work locally in Gnida. I and was happy with the food specially. And the place felt safe , well connected with public transport and all facilities nearby .

Good Services & meal also. Recommend if you have to attend any 3,4,5 day's exhibition. Walkable distance to expo
