New Standard Hotel

Last month on 18th Aug, i have organised & celebrated my daughter's Mundan ceremony at New Standard Hotel - "The Tau restaurant" with around 80+ family & friends gathering. Our overall experience was awesome whether it's food quality & taste or service & behaviour of their staffs. Even my guest liked it very much & planned to organise their any further event at this venue. Also they have decorated it well according to your requirements & expectations. Ambience & feels were very mesmerising. Heartiest Thanks to Mr. Vishal (Owner) & his staffs for making my function very wonderful & memorable. & looking forward any further celebration definitely on this venue. Must Recommended !! A fine place to stay at Inspite of being amidst railway station area one can't believe it's so good

This hotel is situated in front of Railway station, Gorakhpur. I think best hotel for stay and party with the small capacity upto 70 person, is good. I went there last Sunday to attend my friend party, following things are observed: Parking facility available for car and two wheeler inside hotel, that was amazing. Lighting and cleaning was very good. Inside hotel surroundings was good. Service was good. Seating chair in party hall very good quality. Area for 70 person for party, like birthday, engagement, anniversary, Mundan, other party with the limited guest capacity upto 70. Snacks was good in taste. Food like dinner was amazing, in taset and looks. Overall this place is good for party with limited capacity of 70 peoples.

Visited early July. Really liked the ambience and infrastructure. The rooms were neat, the support staff was courteous and room service took good care of all my personal requests. They also have have a dedicated restaurant inside the hotel so there is no need to go out for lunch or dinner. The best part though is its location. It is hardly two minutes walk from Gorakhpur railway station, so anyone can just board off the train and head straight to the hotel without the need to look for any cab/taxi/rickshaw. Thumbs up to new standard hotel from my side! Keep up the good work..

Very LOW standard service. Our driver did not show up and the personnel of this hotel did not do anything to help us find a new taxi. This while we were unable to make any taxi apps work without Indian phone number.

One of the finest hotels in Gorakhpur, with excellent facilities, wonderful and delicious food serving restaurant. Great place to stay and very near to many tourist destinations and public transport.

Had a poor experience at the hotel. Room rent is clearly inflated. For the price charged by the hotel, you can easily get a much better room, in a much better property. Staff is rude and is not helpful. Specially not recommended for people travelling for work and paying from office. The accountant does not understand the concept of TDS and will yell and fight to avoid any deduction. Location of the hotel is the only plus.

Worst hotel Rates are inflated. At the time of check in they are telling differenr tarrif and at the time of checkout they are charging at exorbitant rate, its better to get in writing at rime of check in otherwise they will charge extra, no blowers in winter nither electric kettles are in room
