Hotel Gulistan Tourist Complex

Hotel Gulistan is a very comfortable hotel which has multiple rooms to stay in various budget categories. It is strategically located just outside the entrance to the Fatehpur Sikri Fort complex. Visitors can book rooms online to avoid last minute bookings as during the peak season they are fully occupied. Their inhouse cafe serves tasty multi cuisine food, they have a friendly staff as well. We have a quality lunch here. Their behaviour is very friendly. All the food was hot and fresh. The price is also reasonable. The entire property is owned by the state Government. Maintenance is very good.

AC and non AC rooms available. It was winter so didn't need AC. I was wrong. The fog made everything damp including bed sheets which was awful. The breakfasts were good. The staff tried hard. The monkeys playing in the grass courtyard was fun! But I understand why the staff have to shoo them away. The peacocks were nice.

If you want the best food in Fatehpur Sikri, this is the place to visit. Lots of scenic views and greenery. Rooms are okay when you see the price. The best things about this hotel are , this is government owned, so it is secure as compared to other hotels, next it has the best food to order, and next is the location. It has a proper place for parking. So you should visit this place at least once & stay for at least one night. The peacocks will wake you up in the early morning.

Clean restaurant and toilets. Food is also hygienic with reasonable price. Card payment is available.

This is a rallying point where cab and bus drivers dump tourists and force them to hire a guide and pay for an extra bus instead of getting dropped at the gates paying admission and exploring on your own. The guides here continually point to everything and say "hand carved" then hustle you into a souvenir shop. The guide's main job is to protect you from being harassed by the hundreds of other touts who will constantly harass you. I guess I recommend hiring one of these guides even if you don't want because they will ruin your visit if you don't. Or maybe just don't bother going. Fatehpur Sikri is a beautiful place. Too bad it had to be in India.

Very average. Could have been great. Awesome location Needs better furniture and interior. Food and and service needs improvement.

Hotel Gulistan.....whatever I praise for the place, location, staff and service is less, moreover I cannot explain my fabulous experience in words. A great place full of nature, greenery, surrounded with peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for the tourist who want to have a quality time with their family and friends and who really want to enjoy peacefulness away from city hectics. Food is good and most importantly the staff of Gulistan is a big thumbs-up, for their nature, behaviour and the quality of service provided by them makes a good impression and feels like affinity to the place. I personally highly recommend Hotel Gulistan, Fatehpur sikri. Once everyone should visit this place.
