The best hotel experience one could look forward to! The hotel, along with its restaurant, is a home away from home The staff are super polite and helpful and I say this with complete honesty, and the rooms are well-maintained and spacious Highly recommend this place to anyone planning on staying in Basti

Room was decent enough for standard stay. Not for luxury stay. Service was good and breakfast has limited item but it was good.

We visited hotel prakash for dinner. The ambience is good. We also tried certain dishes such as bhuna matar mushroom, paneer n veg noodles, hot n sour soup, fries, mutton rara, paneer butter masala etc. Paneer butter masala and mutton rara is a must try. Among sweet dish, we ordered gulab jamun and shahi toast. The gulab jamun was excessive sweet whereas the shahi toast was good. Over all the food was good. The services were 10/10.

Good place to stay, party, functions. Basement is quite spacious....but without attached toilet. Out side common toilet are little bit dirty.

Pro: They have their own" khana khazana restaurant" and the food is amazing, Delicious, tasty, wonderful. Good sun face location. Cons: Hot water is not available for bathing, neither staff nor anyone cares. They will tell you to just wait and you will remain waiting for the whole day. Regular drinking water is hard to get. Overall you can book this hotel, it's good for both couples and families

The hotel is located at a convenient place. I used to stay only here whenever I would visit Basti which is my native district. During 2011-12, I had stayed here in a AC fitted room 101 for about 6 months together ie Oct '11 to March 2012. I liked everything except Food . I would take breakfast regularly here and teas whenever required but not the Lunch and Dinner since there was not at all any change in the menu. One cannot get anything else on order other than what is prepared daily. Even for Breakfast, evening snacks, etc, only few certain things are prepared daily. So, if one stays for more than one day, he will have to search something out of the hotel. So for food, I was going about 2 km away to a different hotel. 2. Tea: Tea is not available in the morning when one really wants it after getting up and I had to go out for morning tea. I think, tea makers come from their own residence to the hotel quite late. 2(1): While tea was earlier served in a pot accompanied with 2 proper sized cups and saucers, this practice was snapped when I stayed after first long stay. This time, they supplied tea in a cup which means one has to finish it immediately after its served. I disliked this manner of service very much. Not only this, cup size was so much reduced that it could be called "cutting tea". How can a few spoonful of tea be sufficient in the morning and with the breakfast! This miserliness was really big irritant. I used to suggest and give feedback but owner was probably too much conscious of cost cutting and gaining more income through such means. I remember, price of tea had been increased. Last Visit on 13 March 2019: During this period ie from 2011 to March 2019, I used to ring the reception person while starting for Basti about my intent to stay and they would always book the same room 101 for me. This room as well as other rooms had had geyser in the bathroom. However, on 14 March '19 morning I got no hot water, no geyser. Then on calling reception some one told that hot water supply was on till 7 am or 8 am through boiler and that they will arrange a bucket of hot water separately. They were giving completely false information and deliberately. What is use of such a miserly hotel which makes stories and dodge the clients? I cannot stay in such a hotel which thinks of maximizing it's income alone without thinking of clients' comforts. I immediately left the hotel without taking bath and went to my house in my another village that is located 94 km away from Basti. Since then,ie last 5 years I have not stayed in this hotel. This is my feedback which I am sure hotel will find correct.
