Worst hotel, very pricey, unhygienic and there were rats freely roaming inside the room. The receptionist was rude.

I stayed at Akbar Guest House, and it was a very bad experience. The room and bathroom were not clean at all, and I found trash under the bed. The bedsheet and bed were in terrible condition, and the room had a bad smell. The TV didn't work, and there were no bathroom towels provided. The worst part was the bed. They pushed two single beds together to make a bigger one, but if you try to sleep as a couple, the beds will separate, which is very uncomfortable. For the price, there's nothing special about this place. I do not recommend staying here.

The property is managed in a totally unprofessional way. The quality of rooms is much inferior than what is showed in the pictures. Most of the features mentioned while making the booking are absent in reality for example it showed inclusion of breakfast whereas it was not. The room was on the third floor and the lift didn't work and stairs were quite steep and dangerous. At arrival, the room was very dusty and dirty and the linen were dirty. They provided alternate covers which were unsatisfactory but better than the previous linen. There was no cleaner in the evening so we had to clean the room ourselves with the broom. In addition, the weather was quite cold and the quilts provided were insufficient. Extra blankets placed in the wardrobes were not only dirty but also too dusty. There was no hot water in the bathroom, after much complaining they checked it the next day. To my surprise they had installed just two water heaters for 18 rooms so there was no chance of getting hot water in the room, so we had to buy a heating rod from the market to heat water in the bucket and take a bath, to which we are not used to.

Very nice and humble staff. Best food quality with variety of items. Large and spacious rooms. Prices are reasonable, value for money and they are always ready with good discount offers. We always stay here when visits Aligarh.

The room service was good too with everything that we asked for. It offers all the standard amenities. It's in an excellent location as it is close to the market and medical soap, which is very good for any medical emergency. Everything went smoothly and I had an amazing stay!

I booked a room at this hotel for the night and it was perfect. The hotel is also nearby a railway station The staff was very helpful and the services were great. The room itself was comfortable, the bed was really soft, and there were no issues with security or anything like that. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
