When visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra, there are several hotels that offer comfortable accommodations and stunning views of the monument. Hotel is near Taj and offer many facilities and its budget friendly. Staff os good and helping and gave useful nearby attractions.

I stayed at Hotel Sheela and had a generally good experience with some areas for improvement. 1. Rooms: The rooms were clean and comfortable, but they felt old and in need of renovation. A little upgrading would enhance the experience. 2. Service: The service was excellent. The staff was helpful and accommodating, making the stay pleasant. 3. Location: The location was superb, surrounded by greenery and within walking distance of the Taj Mahal. However, there were some issues with cabs and autos, which made transportation a bit inconvenient. 4. Amenities: During winter, there was no geyser, which was a drawback, especially in colder weather, But a thick blanket was given. 5. Value for Money: The hotel offered decent value for money, though it was slightly above average in price for the facilities provided. 6. Food & Dining: I did not try the food, as I found it a bit expensive. 7. Recommendation: I would recommend this hotel, but with some conditions--mainly for those who prioritize location and service but are okay with older rooms and limited amenities in winter.

"Worst Hotel Experience - Do Not Stay Here" I stayed at Hotel Sheela in Agra during my visit to the Taj Mahal, booking a Standard Non-AC room via MakeMyTrip.com. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience of my life. The room was shockingly small and in terrible condition. The washroom looked like it hadn't been updated in over 20 years--filthy and unhygienic. There was no hot water available in the room; if you needed it, you had to request it, and a room service boy would bring a bucket of hot water. This was extremely inconvenient. The electricity sockets appeared to be from the British era and were barely functional. Cleanliness and maintenance were non-existent. The only redeeming factor is the hotel's location, as it's within walking distance of the east gate of the Taj Mahal. However, this advantage doesn't make up for the horrible state of the accommodations. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone--not even to my worst enemy. Avoid this place at all costs.

We stayed for 2 days and it was amazing and it's near to taj mahal east gate around 500m , if you are looking nature friendly then go for it . Rooms are small but apart from that everything is good , and owner is friendly always ready to help you. Go for deluxe ac room for Sunny weather.

Decent stay for families, The hotel is just 300m from the Taj Mahal, making it a fantastic location. It's peaceful, ideal for a quick freshen-up. The staff were very polite, the food was decent, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended for short stays!"

Locations Amazing tbh. Right next to the Taj. Rooms are a bit damp and dark, but to be honest it's cheap and well located so what do you expect. Pretty decent for a very budget hotel

Very close to Taj Mahal East Gate. Environment of this hotel is very good, surrounded by trees. Staffs are friendly and co -operative. The main thing is, It's security. We stayed at the hotel for two days, we didn't experience any security issues. Due to its close proximity to the Taj Mahal, the area is surouded in security. Perfect place for single girls who travel solo. Fooding is also good. Wish to stay again

I booked the rooms but the location is so close to Taj, that your vehicle wouldn't be allowed to go near this place. Hence for ppl travelling in own cars, this place is not for you. I have given avg ratings as I could not checkin.
