Hotel Shahjahan

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Shahjahan! The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the Taj Mahal, which made visiting the monument super convenient. The staff were extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. They even let us stay longer after checkout and went out of their way to help us with all our bags up and down the stairs. The rooftop view of the Taj Mahal is absolutely stunning, a real highlight of the hotel. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay close to the Taj with genuinely warm hospitality!

In my opinion, this hotel is a great choice for those visiting Agra to see the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The price is very affordable. I recommend choosing the newer rooms on the 3rd floor. It's comfortable enough for resting before starting your day. I stayed here in February, so even without air conditioning, the room was already cool. However, it might be a bit challenging if you have large suitcases to carry up to the 3rd floor. You can probably ask the hotel staff for assistance in bringing them down during check-out.

Hi... I would highly recommend this hotel for all. I had a great experience with this hotel. My family travelled to Agra without me. But unfortunately their train was late by 10hrs. I got an amazing help and cooperation from the hotel. My parents reached in the early hours around 3:30-4am in the morning. I was v tensed about the timing. But Mr. Ahmad has assured me that he would safely pick them whenever they reach. And at every point I have received all kinds of cooperation from him. Though I didn't travel with my parents but the hotel took the best care of the senior citizens. Very very good service, hospitality, location, cleanliness, everything. Thank you Mr. Ahmad and team. For the price I paid, this hotel is pretty good. The service is friendly and quite informative. The room is decent, though not super clean--the floor felt a bit sticky. I went there during winter, so the AC wasn't working in the room.

Squeaky clean, comfy bed/bedding, hot water/AC, perfect location, and staff was so accommodating of us, so welcoming, felt like a true "guest.". Great value toomakes it an easy 5 stars

This is the best place to stay because of the amazing view of the Taj. Don't expect a fancy place, but understand that it's practically in the heart of agra in the middle of the beautiful chaos. This is the best place. Dont miss it for a fancy name with an expsive room. They are economical, the staff is friendly and the owner, Hilal is a gem of a personality.
