Hotel Khushi Raj Palace

We stumbled upon this place on our way to Delhi, we left Agra without having lunch as had a heavy breakfast but around 4pm started feeling hungry so saw the place and stopped our car for food. The restaurant is called Rooftop restaurant as it was on the fourth floor (terrace) of the building and they had cabins with sitting arrangement with the view of the highway. Anyway since we were hungry and they agreed to serve food at those odd hours we happily took position in a cabin and ordered our food. As we were pressed for time, we were pressing them for food and they were taking their own sweet time. My husband rushed to the kitchen 2-3 times and returned with updates. We started counting seconds. Anyway when the food arrived we jumped on it as we didn't ate for 2-3 days, after all the walking at Taj and Fort, had multiplied our hunger. The food was okay, tastes like home cooked and spice was perfect. As usual they had North Indian vegetarian menu so we ordered paneer, mixed veg, dal, salad, roti and rice.
