Hotel Amar

One of the best hotels in Agra. It is located near to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Sadar Bazaar. It's location is pretty good. The best part of the hotel is it's breakfast. Hygiene is well maintained. That's amazing! The front office staff is cooperative.

After conducting research, I selected (HOTEL AMAR AGRA ). I was highly impressed with its clean and comfortable rooms and additional facilities. I highly recommend it! Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms with stunning views, everything exceeded my expectations. specially thanks to Reservation manager (Mr Shivam) was very humble and helpfull person and very kind person.

We stayed for one night in the Agra hotel which is a mid-range hotel but very clean rooms and hot showers/Wifi etc.||In our 2 rooms the air con wasn't great at night so did get very warm but unsure if they had power cuts or a reason for this and as we were only there one night we didn't complain or try to move rooms. ||There is a pool area with a slide and a small area for lounging which has 5 or 6 sun beds. The area had a slightly unhygienic smell for the loungers but this could purely be down to the 40degree heat. The pool itself was clean and everyone had a great dip!||In the evening we went to the hotel micro-brewery restaurant where you can try some of the beers before selection. We then ordered food which was the best meal so far of our one week India trek. We had the chicken taka tak, daahl whilst the kids enjoyed a pizza and chicken bau buns - couldn't recommend the food enough. Note we ate in the dark restaurant with a slight night club vibe not the buffet restaurant where they serve breakfast in the morning.

Hotel is located on the main road, which makes it easily accessible. Main issues come with hotel staff and the owners, they are very rude and respond to the smallest queries at a very slow pace. Not recommended if you visit with family also not worth the price they charge for everything.

The staff at this hotel are so lovely, specially the receptionists and waiters. I felt very comfortable here. Greta value for money for sure in comparison. I'd stay again for sure.

Food: Dinner served in the room at night was nice. Breakfast was poor, very slow service, insufficient staff to cater for guests, poor ambience. Food was cold and beverages were scarce. Location: Rasily accessible, on main road. Guards at the gate had a very casual attitude, seemed unhappy and uninterested. Facilities: On checkin, they provided me 2 suites which were nice but the AC in both of them stopped working after 2 hours. In repeated complaints, they couldn't repair it. No one from the management talked to us. Ultimately they provided us alternative smaller rooms to sleep. This incident spoiled the whole experience and we couldn't sleep adequately that night. Upkeep of the rooms is poor. Broken electric switches were there. Galleries are very narrow and like a labyrinth, very difficult to find your way out in case of fire etc.

I booked this hotel for my guests from 25th to 27th Feb 2025. Had a wonderful experience staying in Hotel Amar. Delicious food. Mr. Shivan Sharma is a wonderful person. Very helpful in nature. He upgraded the room for my guests. He also personally attended my guests. Thanks to him. I recommand Hotel Amar for the Agra trip.

Nice place to stay. All markets near by and the breakfast was limited but worth having . Overall nice stay will recommend
