Hotel Sahibs Royal Ville

I stayed at this hotel for one night. While the rooms are well-decorated and the paintings throughout the hotel are beautiful, there were several issues that made the stay less than ideal. There is a significant dampness issue in the rooms and hallways. Additionally, some amenities were lacking: the fridge did not work, the carpet and washroom were dirty, and the telephone for contacting reception was out of order. On arrival, we were not provided with towels and were told they would be available after an hour due to laundry delays. On a positive note, the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. However, overall, the condition of the hotel could be improved.

The room was huge and very well put together, and the bathroom was very clean as well. The WiFi also worked very well. My favorite parts though were the lovely staff and Manager who chatted with us many times and were very kind. As a bonus, the food they served at their kitchen was incredible tasty and for a good price.

Location was convenient - close to the Taj Mahal! The hotel room was clean, and they brought a hairdryer in the middle of the night as soon as I called and asked for one. Breakfast was also good, and staff were very nice.

Pros: 1. Metro station is at walkable distance. And the metro route will connect to places like Taj mahal, Agra Fort. Cons: 1. Rooms are not properly cleaned and maintained. There were some stains on the walls inside the room we had to stay in. For another room, the main door lock wasn't working properly. Also, the towel that was given also torn one. 2. There is NO A.C. or fan inside the restaurant(which becomes difficult to have food there) since Agra is a very humid place. Packaged drinking water is CHARGEABLE(my first experience, whereas we have complimentary packaged drinking water in other hotels). 3. They give water in a jug, which they told us is RO water. Receptionist was forcing us to put 5 star rating in google(which I think he tell all his guests and is main reason for most 5 star ratings in google we see)

I lived in a Big room with a bathroom. The renovation was fresh. The Food wa good at the hotel had delicious food and banana lassi. The hotel manager helped me book a bus to Delhi for which many thanks to him :) The staff is friendly and welcoming. If you call a taxi, it's arrive in 5 minitus it's cheaper there! The hotel is located about 12 minutes by taxi from the Taj Mahal.

The hotel was overpriced as thrice as it shows on Google. Appart from that the staff behavior was also not that good we paid extra charge for early checkin and we accepted that but food even tea was highly overpriced even water was of Rs. 50. And that too of there branding and not so good. At the time of check out they didn't provide any service for carrying luggage. Overall below average experience.

Staff & Facilities & breakfast were Amazing. The staff attended to every need. Including doing a money exchange for a great rate and giving advice for accurate market closings and openings. Location is decent but expect short rickshaw rides to arrive at Sadar Bazar Market & Agra Cantt train station in the South and the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and baby taj attractions in the North (usually 500 - 800 ruppies to rent a rickshaw all day). Never had trouble finding a rickshaw since a petrol station is walking distance from the hotel.

Value for money! Room was spacious, people were nice, aircon goood! Overall i highly recommend this place
