Hotel Rajshree, Agra

We stayed only for 1 night, the place is 30 minutes by walk from Taj. Friendly staff, even though their English was quite basic. The majority of the guests were indian, the crowd was pretty loud and had many kids that were running the corridors and making lot of noise. You can hear everything in the room. Unfortunately, it's not soundproof. So ask for a quiet room if you can (maybe further feom elevator and on higher floor) .The room was simple but comfortable, and for the price of 1800 rupees (we booked direct with reception last minute), the small breakfast was included. There was also an option to order a room service. Wifi was strong. Reception allowed us to check out 30 min later than official checkout, which is 11 am. For what it is, i think the price is bit steep, but that's Agra, I guess, plus our own fault of not booking anything in advance.

Please avoid this place, if you like to have a decent stay. We booked this hotel through Goibibo. The moment hotel attender opened the room for us, we saw at least 5-6 cockroaches running here & there inside the room. When we asked the attender, he quickly checked with the front office and allotted another room. After check in, we could still see many cockroaches in that other room as well. Bedspreads were not clean. Room was not cleaned properly. No ventilation. Bathroom door was not closing properly which made way for mosquitoes. We could even spot a couple of bed bugs. The exhaust fan runs like a pumpset motor with a lot of noise. And Aircon cannot be switched when geyser is on. Both Aircon & geyser switch controls are at the front office itself. So, we have to tell them which one to switch on every time. Never ever seen such a funny system in any hotel. Worst nightmare stay ever for us. To add to the woes, they did not provide us water bottle, which was mentioned as one of the amenities. When asked, they said no stock. It was around 10 pm and they said they could provide water bottle only by morning. They offered some tap water in kettle, which we were not comfortable to take. They have very limited food choices and they do not allow outside food. So we are forced to have what they give. Pathetic hotel. Please avoid. They claim 3 star but it is not even worth for a 1 star standard. We were kind of passing that night, hardly slept as we were worried of insects, etc., thinking when the night will pass so we can get rid of that place.

Services are very good.. Very near to Taj East metro station.. Rooms are very neat and tidy.. Overall my experience was very good

The hotel was very good and the service, food and staff here were also very good and the staff here was very politely behviour the rooms were also clean and I would recommend this hotel to my friends also.

Staff were very helpful. Good manners... Warm welcome ..gentle approach..The hotel is clean .Room, too, was cleaned . Breakfast was nicely prepared. Thank you . Will surely come back soon

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night on 09th March 2024 with my parents (Senior citizens) & am completely satisfied with my stay. About the hotel: They have a lift & basic amenities like soap, hot water (drinking & bathing) and clean AC rooms, especially 3-bedded ones. The road to the hotel has poor lighting but it didn't feel unsafe. The only tiny glitch was that the plug points in our room were not functional but it was easily solved by Shyam ji (staff) who provided us with an adapter. What I really liked is how helpful the reception & staff were. Clean 3-bedded rooms and helpful staff at an affordable rate - I couldn't ask for more. If you are in Agra, you can definitely check out this place.

Really nice place to stay in Agra . Cleanliness and the supportive service has to be appreciated . Located a little bit inside from the main road where the noisy traffic is always honking ,this place is ideal for a good rest after a long day's travel . Rooftop lounge / dining area is also a nice experience . Compared to the hotel experiences we've had , this is a place that deserves an appriciation . Hope the goodness will be continued and improved . Wishes for better goodness !!!

Hotel Raj Shree is amazing place to stay in Agra.Taj Mahal and Red Fort is very near from the hotel and very convenient location. Rooms are specious and clean. Rooftop restaurant is looking good and had a nice experience, but north Indian food not much tasty. Can recommended
