Friends Guest House & Hostel - Agra

Very friendly hosts, great location (15 mins walk to Taj, 15 mins to the metro). Rooftop was great for watching sunset. However we seemed to be there when parties were happening in the evening which was loud for many hours

The hostel is located in the heart of the city. It's close to the Taj Mahal and other sightseeing places. The owner, Yusuf (Joseph) and his brother are very friendly. Yusuf also has a travel agency which will take you explore India safely and with ease. There's also a local restaurant here owned by their family. Everything was delicious and could be modified (e.g. less spicy or not spicy at all) according to you taste.

The perfect place to stay in Agra, home away from home! You are looked after so well at Friends Guesthouse, all of the staff are so helpful and attentive, they really make you feel safe and welcome. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, there's a great restaurant on site and lots of communal areas to relax. Metro is a short walk, it's the perfect place to base yourself in Agra.

I consider myself quite low maintenance and had a great time in the city of Agra. If you are a fan of rude staff and bedbugs this is the place for you! Plenty of better hostels in the area.

Authentic family run business, excellent service!! The owner did everything possible to help us. The place is comfortable enough and you will get the best Taj Mahal experience. The owner is a professional guide, took us to Taj Mahal, we were the first to enter and see the stunning sunrise. He took amazing photos and took us to visit other places to have a better experience of Indian history. We forgot to return the key we rented in Rishikesh and brought it with us to Agra, he helped us mailing it over. Thank you for everything, we could have not had a better experience in Agra.

This place is 10/10. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds, and washrooms were clean also. The rooftop has an amazing vibe and breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal. it's easy to meet people as the environment is social.

Only stayed here 1 night but the room was good and so was the food. The people working here are so nice and helpful. Also in a good location from the taj mahal. Would definitely stay here again if I was in agra, highly recommend and appreciate their honest and professional hospitality.

A brilliant hostel to stay in - the owner & his family couldn't be friendlier and more helpful with recommending places to go too, arranging tuk tuks, and taking us on tours. He arranged the Taj Mahal tour for us as he is a government official tour guide and it was incredible. Very informative and friendly. ||Rooms are clean, common areas are fun, the kitchen in the hostel makes great food, all in all a very good experience and would 100% stay here again. ||Thank you!!
