DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Agra

We were there to attend a wedding. The hotel was great and we were greeted very warmly. Rooms were also nice and spacious with all the basic amenities. The day we checked in , we were provided with lunch and then evening snacks which were not matching like 5 star food. It was very ok ok. Infact even the food served at the time of wedding was also very below average and we couldn't digest that we are in 5star hotel. Even the staff who were serving were not trained enough and doesn't look likes a hotel parmanent employee.For e.g.For Soup, I just asked for pepper powder but they couldn't understand, and they didn't even bothered to take care of my request. On contrary breakfast was just next to awesome with highly trained staff serving us. The breakfast buffet was vast and it was delicious just like you expect it with standards. In fact I would rate it better than other 5 stars hotel breakfast buffet. One more good point is about there kids room which was really better. I would still recommend this hotel as my family had great time there plus there security and child friendly ambience was good. So looks like for wedding package they have outsourced catering it, which is totally my assumption. If not so then Hotel need to work on their wedding staff and quality of food.

A great hotel with friendly staff, Miss Shilpa at the front desk will greet you a warm welcome and smile. The freshly baked warm cookie oats and walnuts gave a feeling of home. The entire staff is very helpful especially with infants and children. The food was great and breakfast was wholesome with something for everyone. Rooms are comfortable, swimming is relaxing and please try the spa, the therapist are professional and soft spoken. The pool table is great source of entertainment and the bar is right next to that! The property is very nice and food is amazing. It is very near to Taj Mahal. All staff is very polite and courteous especially Ms. Phaila, Ms. Shilpa Ms. Pooja, Mr Rajkumar and Ms. Monalisa. One or two times I faced low internet connectivity. Rest was also good.

The brand maintains its name. I would always prefer to stay here over other similar budget hotels, as they maintain very high level of hospitality. Rooms are neat and clean. The property is well maintained even though it is 10 years old. All amenities are nicely placed within the premises, kids play zone, gym, spa, pool. All adjacent so that you don't have to walk or get troubled too much. The breakfast on property as well was very good.

"My stay at DOUBLETREE BY HOTEL was exceptional! The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of all the attractions such as " The Taj Mahal and Red fort" whic I wanted to see. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the front desk manager and staff. The room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were top-notch. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, strong WiFi, and amazing Bar with pool table etc. One small suggestion would be to improve the breakfast options which is limited with choice but taste is delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel!"

I really liked this hotel! The service was amazing, and the room was very clean and comfortable. I was down with food poisoning and the staff helped me to make my own rice. I am so grateful to be able to nurse myself in such a comfortable environment. Staff were friendly and always tried to accommodate to our requests. I highly recommend!

I loved loved this hotel! The service was amazing. I came in early because my train arrived to Agra in the morning and they were so kind to allow me to check in early. The staff was extremely helpful! Anything I need they were willing to help. Location wise is 10 mins from Taj Mahal and you can take an Uber for 100 rupees. The food in the hotel is very good as well, I have chicken tikka masala and was to die for! Anyways I highly recommend this hotel. Hilton always hits the expectations
