Merton Guest House

This BnB is brilliant. Great host and fab room. |Clean and tidy. Really recommend it to families as well as solo travellers and couples . Breakfast is superb and it's close to town sea and shopping. Restaurants just up the road in Broadwater . Amenities close too.

Mark and Helene are the perfect hosts. The rooms are spotless, the beds very comfortable and a great breakfast. I doubt you would find a better place in Worthing. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Thank you so much Mark and Helene

This is my 5th (or so?) stay at Merton House over the years when visiting family in the area. As always Mark was the perfect host and my stay was faultless. I echo and endorse all the positive traits previously mentioned by other guests. As I usually rely on trains, the convenient location of the station is ideal, circa 10 minutes walk for anyone with normal mobility.

Perfect in every way.|Location, rooms, breakfast, parking and not forgetting Top|Man Mark, owner, 100%.|Loved our chats over breakfast, very interesting memories of South Africa provided by mine Host. So looking forward to return next month. Treat yourselves.

Perfect. Location superb. Twenty minute stroll to beaches, town,|museums, theatres and even local football ground. Car parking space available, may look daunting but with all the tech on modern cars or a good old fashioned banks man should not be a problem. Mark and Elaine really are the perfect hosts. Wicked sense of humour but not intrusive in anyway. We had the pleasure of staying in Room 7. En-suite and room were both immaculate. Very good tea tray. All facilities available to make for a comfortable two night stay.|Breakfast was a real treat. All ingredients are prepared by an Air Fryer. Except the fried eggs. OJ, tea, coffee, toast, selection of jams, marmalades, honey, marmite great choice. All served at a relaxing pace.|Wi-Fi is excellent.|10/10

Clean and comfortable roomy accommodation with good ensuite Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices and generous servings. Our friendly host Mark provided us with good local knowledge and was always on hand when needed. Would definitely recommend staying here and we would love to have a return stay.

I stayed here for a weekend visiting family, with my mum and partner. And honestly it was perfect. Perfect location not too far from the station, rooms were spotless, first time I've ever been to a BnB or hotel that gives me a pot for tea in my room! Straight up 10/10 just for that. Mark was so friendly and welcoming and cooked the best full English breakfast each day.

We stayed at the guest house last week for work. Mark was incredibly welcoming and always went the extra mile. The rooms were immaculately clean and well provisioned with everything that you could ask for. Little shampoos and shower gels, plenty of towels, a kettle with tea coffee and biscuits, and even bottles of water. Delicious breakfasts...fresh fruit, continental breakfast and Irish breakfast amazing! Mark gave us a lift to the station with luggage. We had a great stay, and I couldn't recommend the Merton Guest House enough.
