Steyning Holiday Cottages

I have just returned from a 4-week January break. Staying at Chanctonbury cottage. I received a warm welcome on arrival and was then shown around the cottage which had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The accommodation is well equipped, roomy, and spotlessly clean. Not to mention the underfloor heating making my mid-winter stay very comfortable. Located in a peaceful setting and yet within easy reach of Steyning high street for all your day-to-day needs, eating out etc. I found the cottage a perfect base to venture out from and explore West Sussex, and being centrally located, Brighton, Worthing, and Horsham are all within a short drive away. Like me, if you have a dog then you are spoilt for choice with lovely walks on your doorstep, or wider options just a short car ride away. Hosts Jed and Vanessa were on hand if ever I needed anything, otherwise I was left alone to enjoy my stay and the peaceful surroundings. Fresh bed linen and clean towels were provided each week. Overall, I had a thoroughly enjoyable, relaxing stay and left feeling recharged. I will return!

Steyning Holiday Cottages are highly recommended. Just had a week away here and it was fantastic. Our cottage was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and lots of extra little touches from someone who has clearly thought about what's needed for a stay. From first contact with Jed and Vanessa, communication was a breeze and they were exceptionally helpful. We had some lovely chats during our stay but also felt like we were able to crack on with our holiday independently. Nothing was too much trouble. We took our cockapoo and she was made to feel welcome and the cottage was suitable for her too, with lots of fab walks locally. Cute town too with lots of amenities. We definitely want to return and fully recommend staying. Thanks

Fantastic spot, centrally located for walking and Steyning township. Vanessa & Jed were fantastic hosts who made us feel really welcome and Midnight their gorgeous dog helped us feel less homesick for our dogs back home in NZ. The cottage was immaculate and well stocked for a self catering holiday. Nice touch to have a chilled bottle of wine on arrival, plus milk in fridge for cups of tea etc. I can highly recommend this holiday cottage for both the property and the people. Am looking forward to coming back for a longer stay soon.

I stayed at Amberley cottage for over two months. A very delightful stay I had too. Jed and Vanessa are wonderful hosts, very laid back and helpful. My well behaved dog, Ted proved very popular. Bed linen and towels frequently changed. Lovely warm under floor heating. I can recommend these holiday cottages very highly. Patricia Lawson

Excellent spot within walking distance of Steyning town centre and Downs Link. Cottage and all amenities are clean and in good working order. Very quiet at night. Had an excellent stay with two friends. Hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Steyning Holiday Cottages are set in beautiful 'country' area. The cottage was perfect for our party of 3. Lovely decor, luxurious feather duvets and pillows. Extremely helpful owners, on hand if you need any info about the local area but not constantly in your face. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful place. Perfect stay. The owners went above and beyond with personal touch such as, cake and wine on arrival. Personal greeting and a little welcome postcard. The cottage was very comfortable. Home away from home. We will most certainly be back. Thank you

Accommodation inside lovely, location good for the town. However it is not detached and therefore you can hear everything that neighbours are doing!. Whether our neighbours were particularly noisy we're not sure . Hosts were delightful.
