The Gather Inn

Just got back from a 2 night stay at The Gather Inn with my son. Great location. Bar has plenty of alcohol options, lillys cider is my favourite! We didn't try the food this time round as we were visiting friends. Room was clean and had everything you would have needed, towels, hairdryer, iron, kettle. Beds were also comfy. Staff, all were lovely and polite. Can not wait to stay again next year.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Prices weren't expensive but food was just OK. Burger was a bit bland. Location was good and had a walk along the seafront after. Atmosphere was welcoming but wouldn't eat here again as the food was mediocre.

Had a great stay at the Gather Inn. No, it's not the Hilton, but it is great value for money. The rooms was a decent size, had a great sleep after some lovely food and friendly service in the bar. Location is great and would definitely stay here again. Treated like family from the moment we arrived with a warm and friendly welcome. Will be back, thanks to Becky and the team

Lovely place to stay, right by the beach, the staff were lovely especially Becky, she made us all feel so welcome and was always there if we needed anything. Food was amazing, everything fresh and flavourful! Would definitely recommend for anyone to stay here! Will definitely be going back!

Nice cosy budget friendly Inn. Staff are very welcoming and kind . Food is good . Had the prawn fish cakes and chips which were absolutely delicious. My wife had the pie which she loved. |Good selection of drinks and stunning views. Very much enjoyed are stay and will return.

I came for an interview and stayed at The Gather Inn . I am so pleased to have found it . As a solo traveler its nice to be in a hotel where the look after you . The girls are all really friendly and seem to be genuinely interested in your plans. They have an excellent choice of Gins and they introduce me to the 'Brighton' not Brighton shot Tuaca . Which I will be amazoning one of them if I can't go to the shops they recommend to pick one up. They also make the best expresso Martini I have ever had . The Inn does not do breakfast because they are surrounded by lovely local cafes. I ate one morning in Tiffany's and the other at The Longshore both excellent cafes . I will definitely be returning when I come back to Brighton.

Nice room, low ceilings and small bathroom but fine for me. It was a convenient location for me. Staff friendly although I didn't see much, pub nice but kitchen was closed when I stayed.

Oh wow never trust a review. You wanna know about The Gather Inns recent's reviews go ask the bar staff . Absolutely shocking what those poor guys have been through. I never write reviews but felt compelled to after their stories. Anyone I had a lovely pint of Cruz Campo fast becoming my favourite beer and the the chicken pie outstanding loved them . Then because I was having such a lovely time I had another pint and the strawberry posette which was unreal , I have had lemon before but never strawberry. Fantastic. I found the bar staff to be truly delightful very efficient. As always a lovely evening.
