OYO 31017 Hotel Nirmala

Underrated hotel. The staffs are a little impolite when we become impatient. We can't blame them though. When that comes to the taste of the food, it's really worth the wait. Fabulous. A must go. It says FAST FOOD coz it's of Chinese style. Otherwise,it's more of a restaurant

If I could give zero stars I would. The receptionist doesn't even know how to talk properly. The rooms were very dirty, there were literally a swarm of cockroaches in the hotel. The bed sheets are very dirty, with stain marks all over them. There is often a power cut, which led to sleepless nights. One of the worst hotels in agartala. If you actually wish to waste your money, it's better to burn it than to spend it at this hotel.

Someone recommended me to go there for better accommodation and service..... But nothing was good and better..... No chefs were there that day and anyhow It was too bad to eat the food they prepared in absence of the chefs.... There was no AC in the room even though I paid for it...i complained about that.... But there's no response from them... And no hot water to take bath...... I don't recommend it to anyone..... Don't ever visit this place and if you do so,,,, you'll be a fool....

We didn't stay at the hotel, so can't say anything about that. We just visited the place for lunch. Our car driver in Agartala suggested us this hotel for lunch and we absolutely loved it. We took 3 boiler chicken thali which was just 200/- and got so many items in it. It has, 1. Unlimited Steamed Rice 2. Hilsha Muri Ghonto (lovely) 3. Neem Aloo Begun Bhaji (lovely) 4. Musur Dal 5. Fulkopir Datar Chochhori (lovely) 6. 4 pc. Boiler Chicken Curry (lovely) 7. Salad 8. Papad 9. Chutney I must say that I was in love with this thali. It was the best Bengali lunch I had in Agartala

I went there for having lunch. The food was average. I ordered Catla fish (Rs. 150) and Wallago catfish / boal fish (Rs. 200). Taste wise Catla fish was good but Boal fish curry was stale and salty.

The attitude of the owner is unacceptable & disgusting. The service is quite poor, street vendor would serve better than the employees who work over there. If you happen to have rice meal than they would provide you leftovers from the day before just by warming it in the oven. Trust me & save your money & time for better place.

Looking for good fast food in the area? "Nirmala" serves you with some good fried food that would make your tummy smile. Speaking from personal experience, I've been there more than thrice now and wouldn't regret going for the next 10times or so . The only thing I've found unfitting is the restaurant food. Before I go on, fyi this place has two parts "restaurant" and "fast food" . The restaurant would serve you good food but less in amount for a little high price. Nevertheless it's a good place for taking a break in the evening or whichever hour of the day you like.

I am not sure why many guests have downvoted it. I found this very good, clean, big or standard size room, good public transport available since it is just beside the main road, ample parking space, helpful staffs, owner and manager both have very good behaviour, different types of food available, standard food prices, direct auto available to bot tala, for railway station only two break else you can reserve, room beautifully decorated with fall ceiling, fridge ( I have not used ). I will prefer to stay here again. Update: Stayed here again with family. Again same good experience. If you plan to catch train, and want everything under same roof, stay here. Highly recommended.
