Hotel Rimi International

I stayed at this hotel for a night during my All India Road Trip. I must say the hotel has impressed me the most amongst all the other hotels I stayed at during my road trip. I had booked the hotel online in morning before starting my drive. In the afternoon I got a call from the hotel enquiring about my arrival time. And when I reached the hotel the gentleman at the reception, Mr Adyanandi was very kind, polite and helpful. I want to give my special thanks and regards to Mr Adyanandi for going out of his way to help us during our stay at the hotel. The rooms are good and comfortable. Cleanliness and comfort are well maintained and taken care of. The food was good at the restaurant. The portion size and quality of food was good. Staff was polite and helpful, right from security staff to reception staff to room service and house keeping. All were very polite and courteous. Though there isn't anything negative to mention about my experience, I just wanted to highlight couple of points which I feel if taken care can further enhance experience for customers. The mattress was very light and was moving freely on the bed even when we tried to sit on it. Otherwise it was comfortable for sleep. The hotel does not have parking of its own, which I somehow missed to check when booking. But there was parking available on the road side opposite to the hotel. Overall a good, comfortable and a pleasant stay at Hotel Rimi International.

Rooms were clean, but you will loose your dignity/self respect for their carelessness. The manager is arrogant and can stoop to any low for earning extra bucks from you. So beware during check in. Never seen such a sick customer experience ever.

PROS: Nice staff. ||REVIEW: |Stayed Apr-2024 for 2 nights in Executive rooms 206 and 207 (co-traveller in 2nd room) with breakfast. Room had separate key-card and electrics-card.|Hotel appeared to have business visitors staying.|Despite the few negatives the staff and room were nice, even had a working safe.|||NEGATIVES|Took a shower in the evening of check-in however the bathroom smelt of sewerage.|Next morning we went to breakfast however the power in the street went off and we were stuck in their only lift between floors. Emergency alarm and phone in the lift did not work and soon switched off. After 5 minutes we forced the lift-doors open and climbed up to reach the floor and exit the lift. Breakfast was with candles. Power returned over 45 minutes later. |Key-card required resetting on 2nd day in the afternoon, however reception took a long time re-programming it.

Not satisfied Overall experince bad First time i saw in my life that mu luggage at reception at the time of check out i dne the room apymnt and only food paymnt due And told me frst do room pymnt afterthat its check out i told thm i come again and do till thn my luggae at your reception only I am travelohic person frst time i saw in my lyf that hotel askng for pymnt after my luggae at lreprion Very pathetic servce and behaviour of reception employee My suggestion never prefer this property Sana tola is best property and bst servce they cooperate so well

It is amongst the best hotels in Agartala. The staff is really helpful and polite. The room is well maintained with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Food is also nice, special mention is the breakfast spread which has a lot of options. Although the prices of food are on the higher side, one can always overlook that. I have always enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location is also convenient, where most places are accessible. Downside will be the constant trouble from mosquitoes, would advise the management to have a good repellent for it. Aside, everything is on the good side.
