Galaxy Inn

This hotel is run by a bunch of scammers. I had booked for twin bed giving higher price but when I arrived they provide me a cramped single bed room. I took this issue to them and then I was provided with blank looks(as if they failed to scam me into getting a cheaper room) and excuses i.e. there is a pipe problem. I demanded to get a room according to what I've paid so they made me wait for more than 2hrs and later gave me the twin bed room. Inside the room there were no toiletries,broken toilet seat/cover, wall socket problem, non-working geyser and surprisingly a sparrow(didn't know where it came from, probably a nest inside the room; although amusing,it speaks volumes about the hygiene and maintenance of the hotel. After running the A/C for a few hours it started to leak, flooding half of the room (hadn't realised it as I was tired and fell asleep).So acting on my common sense, i gathered the bucket from the bathroom to gather the leaking water. By next morning, i had collected 11/2 bucket of water from the leaking AC (i would have been really grateful if I was surviving in a rainforest but alas). Overall, this hotel is highly unrecommended. Only saving grace was a room service boy, otherwise rest of the staff were rude, ignorant and straight out dismissive. This property should not be allowed to function as a hotel. Absolutely terrible service. I'm writing this long review so that many others don't waste their hard earned money as I've done.

This hotel is 30 minutes from the airport. Service is pretty bad. You need to purchase water. Food had dirt in it. Bathrooms have leaking taps. Water drips all the time. ||The ceiling fan hasn't been cleaned for years (see pic). Rooms are sub-standard. Callous attitude of staff. When a request was made to have the fan cleaned; the response was "don't worry nothing will fall on you!"||Highly avoidable hotel.

Budget hotel with basic amenities. Air conditioning and hot water is available along with television and phone. Room service for food is also available. Location of the hotel is good. It is very near to City centre Agartala and Nagerjala bus stand.

service is complete nothing... to much high temper owner and treat quest like hell. no food service, no parking facilities. guest starve to death just to get decent food and service. plus 10pm this hotel is shut down, what kind of hotel is that

No lift, No 24 hours electricity, Defective AC, NO Restaurant out side food not allowed , cleanliness poor

Not for big wedding it's h Just for low budget wedding it can handle maximum capacity of 150 people at a time I think

The hotel premises are neat and clean but the room that they provided me was very humid

A decent hotel that you come across in the city. With average food and congested space, it is similar to most of the hotels you can get within Battala area.
