Central Guest House

Budgeted hotel , clean rooms ,sufficient water supply , AC rooms also economic , all staff responded well and foods homely made .

We booked a room for 3 adult males for 4 nights but they provided a room with 2 single beds on our arrival. Cleanliness was poor- red gutkha spitting all over the window. Bathroom was poorly maintained - water was coming out of the basin and commode. However place is well connected and located at the heart of the city. Staff behaviour was good. Food was available but can't say much as we didn't take food there. We preferred outside hotels. We felt a security issue as there was a door of 4 feet in our room but it was locked from the other side and no locking system in our side. However I must say that nothing bad happened during our stay. If I book this hotel next time, I would avoid that room.

This property is located at the heart of the city. One can walk to Ujjayanta Palace from this property. Single bedded room with attached bathroom is available at Rs.550 per night. Overall, this is the place with great value for money if you're traveling solo.

It's fairly OK for single men travelling but I don't think it is suitable for families or single women. Maybe it's cultural but there are not so suitably clothed men who hang around in the corridors. While the staff seem to be friendly, they don't really respect your privacy and keep knocking on the door to ask you if you need something. Also, the staff actually force you to pay a tip while leaving. The room I stayed in was very old but decent and fairly clean but do not expect luxury. There is a mosquito problem so do keep your mosquito repellant cream handy.

The breakfast was very well cooked and was very tasty with a good variety of options.The location is great for the sea front and nice and quiet at night .

Prime location, clean but damped room walls, simple home style food is available, broken bathroom fitting, hot water not available, need to call reception for hot water. Not much professional, it's little bit cozy place. Overall budget place to Stay for working professional.

Very good. I like this Central guest House. Good behaviour. Price cheapest. Food items also good. Average hotel. Near Golbazzar all kinds of facilities there.please visit I think you are satisfied this kinds of facilities.

Value for for money hotel rooms non ac and ac are available for 500,600 little bit negotiations are required. Wifi services are available. Walking distance from RMS Chowmuhani. Adjacent restaurants are expensive AF. Do your survey for alternative sources of food oh and yes every shop opens around 9-9:30am. So breakfast remains a fast till that time.
