City Grand Hotel

We had family function in Warangal in Aug 2024 and as I could not find available rooms in 1000 pillar hotel, I had too book in City Grand Hotel. Before booking I had directly call City Grand Hotel , enquired on things in hotel and Rohan[9390194043] confirmed that hotel is good for stay and everything is available. So I booked paying 2800 Rs for 1 day stay.||When we went to Hotel City Grand, we understood that:|- Lift is not working and rooms are in 3rd floor only, so everything me and my family along with kids has to use stairs.||- Restaurant is closed for renovation, so no food is available. Worst part is that they promised for Ala Carte Breakfast and no one bothered on asking for breakfast. They did not provided any breakfast.||-Even when I asked to get a team in morning at 7 AM, they said the staff will come at 09:00 AM, so I need to wait till staff comes for Tea.||Its really Terrible experience, me and my family suffered booking room here.||I am posting this review, so that this will help others to not to book in City Grand Hotel Warangal.

Hotel was severely understaffed. I'd give them the benefit of doubt for that, but the food was average in taste at best. It wasn't worth the time they made us to wait. Took too long to respond, took too long to provide, food looks well presented, good job for the chef. 3/5, would be a second or third choice for the place to eat in the area

Went for lunch along with family. There was no one other than us. Took 1 full hour to bring the ordered dishes. Only bottled water costing 30 rs. No free water. I asked for glasses for 4 times. When asked fifth time, they gave. Food is very pricey. Rs. 500 mutton biriyani and rs. 400 for drumstick chicken. All dishes are costly but very moderate in taste. Taste is not worth the money. At last, to bring the change for the bill settled, they took 10 mins. I missed my next appointment because of these guys. Don't go here. As far as warangal is concerned, small shops are better.

I had tried only Chicken Biryani here the taste was too worst, it's not a biryani I would say it just a burnt fried rice added some low quality spices and worst hotel maintenance inside with no crowd at 1:30 PM afternoon. The biryani cost was Rs 340 /- waste of money not even worth Rs 100/- - All The food items cost are too much high with worst taste.

Had good food during lunch, but missed the local cuisine. Hope more high end and low end eateries work towards bringing lost and lesser known recipes on the table for the visitors of the great historic cities.

I booked the hotel seeing its location and the fact it had decent parking. However, once we checked in, we realised that the fan and AC were not working and the sheets were spotted dirty. The previous sheets hadnt been taken out and this is given the fact, we cheked in at 7 PM. Even the intercom is not working for any room and its like once you are in the room, that's it, you cant ask for anything else. They dont even seem to care about the guests and after much haggling, we got another room where at least the AC threw some air and the fan was working. No one even bothered to give us a water bottle even after repeated asks and finally next morning, even for breakfast, the person who was suppposed to come to the room and take our order never came. The attached restaurant with the hotel is super expensive (given that there is no other restaurant in the vicintity, they seem to take advantage with the prices) and half the items on the menu arent even available. My family and I were super uncomfortable and the hospitality level of this hotel is absolutely zilch. We checked out the next morning as soon as we could. I would really suggest avoiding this place unless you want to keep running around and begging the stuff for basic amenities which were promised as part of the package.

Very bad experience at this hotel. they gave away two rooms to about 10-15 men next our room and the noise and disturbance kept us awake all night. Very ignorant and irresponsible management. Bad bed sheets and washrooms. rooms are very smelly and dirty. Food is not at the mark of an star hotel. Over all : No where near the standards of an Star Hotel. Very poor maintenance unhygienic rooms. Expensive Food. Low Room service. Ignorant management.

The rooms are good and staff is cooperative. Location wise, it is near to Kakatiya medical College. They are fast to resolve issue. Overall it is worth of money. Wifi speed is super good around 70 Mb/s. There was least interrupted in conducting Online classes from room. Food quality is really nice and they had make separate restuarant room for veg and non-vegetarian people. Early morning (7a.m. to 11 a.m.) breakfast was easily available. Thanks to City Grand hotel management.
