Deccan Trails-Forest Resort

A nice, relaxing place with plenty of activities for teams or families. It's a great spot to chill, with a good-sized swimming pool and a fun rain dance area. The food is tasty, albeit with fewer varieties. Snacks and high tea are also good. Overall, it's a lovely place to spend a relaxed day.

Great place to relax and enjoy with your friends over a weekend. Calm, and beautiful sun set facing pool to spend the evening and bonfire at night. Small fun activities available on the property like wall climbing, mini forest trek and zip line which you must do.

This being my second time visit to Deccan Trails campsite, I assumed few things will b improved- Food. Quality of the food is same poor, no other option for a child. Basic bread, butter, jam, egg is missing from breakfast buffet. Only south indian food is there...Secondly hygiene. Same issue still there. They don't even provide a single towel, clean blankets. We all know we came for so called jungle stay but these are basic. After paying 3900/- per head non- veg items are not there included, u can't expect a clean western toilet and even after twice people came to clean.

Visited with my company colleagues of 60 people in a get-together and one day holiday tour. In our package food and stay was included. We stayed in a big tent of 20 people in one tent. Twin sharing rooms also available with attached bathroom and toilet inside. Enjoyed a lot with lot of activities, swimming, outdoor games and best part was trecking in forest(Not forest actually now) Food was good.

I've been here a couple of times, once with friends and once with family. While I'd have rated this a 5-star, I am doing so only for the location and service. The key reason for this is that the erected tents are not very well maintained and the bedding and rooms can be improved significantly! The location however is exquisite as it is situated atop the Ananthagiri hills in Vikarabad that oversee the Nallamalla forest ranges. Food is limited in options but the taste is good whatsoever! The staff are courteous and help with campfire and other requirements but the drawback comes to food service in the room. They ask you to come all the way down to the dining area and do not serve food to the rooms which are all the way up on the hills. You can carry it if you prefer to do so. Pets are allowed with additional charge but they include food for it so that is another addition. Overall good place that can be further improved.

Food was very good.....and the way they received us is simply awesome .... it's was grt time vth friends to make lots of memories....

Very good resort. One advice is go early in the early morning at 10 AM and then you will enjoy and communication will be improve much metter within the team.

The place was close to wilderness... But I hope they a lil invest more into infrastructure. The activities and trail was perfect experience. The cafeteria can be improved. It's upto the mark but could be better for people who prefer more cleanliness.
