We had a terrible experience at The Hamlet Resort. Resort staff house arrested us after questioning unfair charges. My 3-year-old daughter had a fever for days, but staff denied medical help outside the premises. Five small kids were left without food and forced to sit under the sun. Staff behavior was rude, intimidating, and threatening towards my husband and friends. Despite knowing our daughter was sick, they refused to let us leave. Police intervention was necessary to escape the horrible situation. The resort prioritized extracting money over guest well-being. Families with young children should avoid this resort due to the lack of care, empathy, and respect. Thankfully, the police department provided timely assistance. Rating: 0/5 star.

Our recent visit to The Hamlet Resort was nothing short of a nightmare. We were 3 families, including 5 small children, looking forward to a peaceful getaway. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a traumatic one due to the resort's complete lack of professionalism and humanity. One of my friends took the horse riding activity offered by the resort. Within a very short time, he fell from the horse and sustained injuries -- all because of the lack of safety measures and untrained staff. There was no safety gear provided, no proper supervision, and yet they claimed to be professionals. In fact, when we questioned the staff, they casually asked us to try the horse ourselves and "check." Two of us sat on the horse for barely 5 minutes, just as they said. The shock came during checkout -- they presented us with a bill of Rs. 7,500 + taxes for horse riding for 3 people, without informing us of any charges beforehand. When we questioned this unfair billing, their response was aggressive and arrogant: "Pay and leave." We requested that they send a representative to check on our injured friend's medical condition and expenses. Instead, we were met with heartless replies like: "It's just an incident. At least your friend didn't die." When we stood our ground and refused to pay the unfair charges, they locked the main gate and held us inside the resort premises -- along with our kids, one of whom was running a high fever and needed medical attention. We were detained for over 4 hours, threatened, and denied basic freedom to leave. The place is far from the city, and we were helpless. Even when we called the police, the staff boasted about their "influence" and claimed no action would be taken against them. Thankfully, Kondapur CI Mr. Venkatesh Sir responded promptly, and only after his intervention were we able to reach the police station and file a complaint. Throughout this horrifying situation, resort staff Saurav and Priyanka were completely indifferent, inhumane, and disrespectful -- especially toward the kids. This is not just about poor service -- it's about safety, ethics, and basic human decency. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this resort if you value your safety, your family's well-being, and your peace of mind. Grateful to the police department for helping us in this extreme situation.
A perfect getaway from Hyderabad. Location was beautiful, calm, peace . Room stay and lake was awesome with activities like fishing , horse riding. Food taste was very good in set menu , prices of food should be reasonable and with multiple options. Over all must visit getaway resort.
Our room/ tent was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The amenities were top-notch. Nice activities, beautiful and pleasant surroundings. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. We were pleased with our stay.
Misleading, Unsafe, and Completely Not Worth the Price Our stay at The Hamlet was deeply disappointing, and frankly, infuriating. From start to finish, the experience was nowhere close to what was promised -- or what you'd expect at a property that markets itself as a luxury resort. Several amenities listed online were completely missing, including even basic necessities like WiFi, which we had to chase multiple times to get. There's no reception desk, no formal check-in or communication system -- just uncoordinated back-and-forths via personal phone numbers. At this price point, that's simply unacceptable. The most alarming part? We were only told after checking in that we were the only guests on the entire property. Given the remote location and the fact that one of us is pregnant, this felt incredibly unsafe. The staff, who were otherwise kind and helpful, openly confirmed this. So imagine our shock when we brought up our concerns after the stay -- only to have the manager lie to our faces, claiming the "owners were also staying on the property." A complete fabrication, clearly intended to cover up their mess. It's insulting, and honestly pathetic, to be lied to about something so basic. To top it off, we experienced multiple power outages, and at one point the water supply stopped entirely in the middle of the night. Again, this is not what we signed up for. And while the food was decent, it definitely didn't justify the pricing -- nothing about this stay did. As two women traveling together, we felt uneasy and misled. The listing painted a very different picture from the reality, and we left feeling scammed and disappointed. It's outrageous to charge these rates for a stay that fails so fundamentally on both comfort and safety. We absolutely do not recommend The Hamlet to anyone -- and frankly, a partial refund would be the least they could do.
I will make sure I personally do not encourage anyone from within my family, friends, office and college circles from booking a stay at The Hamlet. I have visited many properties in the country, both luxury and non- luxury; and let me tell you, the title 'Luxurious farm stay' should be removed from your page as calling yourself luxurious gives a bad name to the other properties that fall under this category. The amenities were pathetic, the room hardly worth the price we paid. No proper water, no WiFi, no snacks, no transport, and absolutely nothing to do there. The contact we spoke to, Priyanka, only made false promises to us. This place might be good for parties with a large number of people, but absolutely unsafe when it comes to 2-3 people wanting to stay.
This is our 2nd time to Hamlet and it is a true luxury wellness resort. We got a proper digital detox both the times. They are always available to pamper us and the vegetarian food is yummy
I had terrible experience in this resort we went with our family friends one of our friend had an injury because of horse ride and they didn't even show min consideration and they charged 2500 and we didn't even ride it for 5min and they locked us inside the resort as we asked to wave off the amount we almost paid 48k just for 1 night spent and charges were also too high there is no water facility and on the top of it they blackmailed us that they will file a file a case that we are harassing the women employees. There are no women employees. They charged 199rs for 1 tea cup size milk for kids. We filed a complaint against these resort don't ever go to this place. This place is really a nightmare for us. Even the kids suffered without food for almost 8 hrs. Terrible people and prices. This is really heinous when we ask for water they didn't even provided with that at least. Shourab is the incharge person who don't even respond properly and very ill mannered towards to kids and women.
