Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad

Awesome scenery.... Natural habitat for birds, beautiful peacock flying in the campus area, turkey cocks n ducks making noise made extra beauty to the palace. We were fortunate to stay here in such a Royal Heritage and experience the Royale treatment. The staff were very polite n kind. Had lovely vacation over here.

Taj Falaknuma Palace- a place where every memory is cherished, loved, and celebrated. You simply cannot go wrong with a stay here. Whether it's for a single day or a week, they go above and beyond to make your experience truly memorable. Initially, we booked a four-night stay, but we were so impressed from the moment we checked in by every single detail that we extended our visit to eight nights - the BEST decision ever!||We were celebrating our parents' 25th Wedding Anniversary, and not a day went by without a delightful surprise from the hotel. Cakes, photographs, bouquets, and more - they truly did everything to make us feel special on this important occasion. The entire staff is incredibly kind and generous, paying exceptional attention to detail. If you prefer something a certain way, they remember it and offer it to you without prompting. For instance, I like my coffee black and iced with a little brown sugar. After mentioning this only on the first day, every coffee I received for the rest of our stay was prepared the same way. The attention to detail is incredible. ||||There are so many things to do at this place that we felt even 8 days were too short to explore everything. There's horse riding, mocktail sessions, bicycle rides, peacock feeding, qawwali, and so much more! If you're a family traveling with little kids, take them to Gulistan, where there are many board games and everything for them to enjoy. It doesn't have to be just for kids; a group of grown-ups will enjoy it just as much. ||||The minute you enter this place, you are transported to a peaceful location where you feel relaxed and detached from the busy city that Hyderabad is. The spa is also very quiet, and you can hear birds chirping throughout your session, which gives a calming effect to your mind. Ms. Madhavi is also very helpful and kind; she would personally attend to us every morning and suggest treatments throughout our stay!||||The food, the team, and the service were all simply fabulous! Special mention to Nasar, Sudhakar, Nilesh and Mustafa from the F&B team for the delicious food and exceptional service, and for their thoughtful offerings when I wasn't feeling well. ||||I have visited many Taj properties, but this one remains my number one. Even after our fifth visit, we will undoubtedly choose to stay here again.||Special thanks to Mr. Rahul, Mr. Qayumm, and Ms. Gulnaz for going out of their way to make our stay so memorable. They were always ready to offer anything we asked for! Every day you spend here will be a treat to yourself, and you will feel a sense of belonging because of the positive environment and the people around. ||||We've celebrated so many occasions here, including my father's 50th birthday and our parents' 25th wedding anniversary, and I now hope to celebrate my own birthday at Taj Falaknuma someday

Amazing property exceeded expectations. Set in beautiful gardens, the Palace has been carefully restored. Dining at Gol Bungalow under the gorgeous high canopy was magical with the lights of Hyderabad sparkling in the background - food was excellent. A memorable stay!

Right from the entry at the Gate till the exit bye's the staff made sure we had a memorable stay. A lot of staff members deserve special appreciation i don't know few names but ill try to address few along with my review of stay.||1. The chariot ride : The royal entrance experience was far beyond our expectations. the staff even offered to help us capture the memory. An executive (Mr. Dhanush) received us at the Palace and guided us to refresh with a cold towel and offered a welcome drink.||2. Check in: After the welcome drink we were escorted into the palace with Rose petal shower and a jasmine garland welcome. Mr. Dhanush escorted us directly to our room made sure we were comfortable and finished the check in process in a min.||3. The Room: They have decorated the room and arranged a cake with few fruits and chocolates by the time we reached. The bed was comfortable. The Bathtub was kept ready with rose petals. The sleep comfort was not good as i always heard some vibration noise constantly. may be from central AC (not sure).||4. Palace tour with Historian: Unlike the day visit tour , The staying guests will be guided by a historian , who explains wonderfully about the entire palace and its artifacts history while guiding us through the different rooms of palace. followed by a qawwali session.||5. Dinner: We went to adha for dinner but my kid wanted to try Rock lobster so moved to celeste. the meal was delicious thanks to the chef. The manager (Mr. Nasir) at restaurant was very attentive and offered our kid a complementary kids meal.||6. Peacock spotting : In the morning the security at the palace reception suggested us to go for a walk and also arranged a battery vehicle by the time we reached. I witnessed almost 6 different wild peacocks dancing at a time. A must try once in a lifetime experience. ||7. Activity for kids: They arranged a few kids battery cars to play. The staff who was taking care of this activity was very friendly , she was very kind and empathetic towards kids . she also offered us to feed the peacocks. which was memorable.||8. Buffet breakfast @Celeste: Food was decent , but the restaurant staff were very welcoming, always ready to help with anything. The manager (Mr. Nazir) was always available and also arranged a cake for Bday celebration with a greeting card and few roses along with a flutist who played Happy Birthday. My wife was overwhelmed for this unexpected celebration.||9. Checkout : very smooth process and the reception staff gave us a photo frame of ours (captured by Mr. Dhanush again) as a memento. which was very impressive. ||A special thanks to Mr. JagaJevan for surprising my kid with two Gifts. She was very happy and was talking about it the entire day. ||Couldn't try the pool as time was not sufficient and late checkout requested was not accepted . But duty manager (Mr. Tejas) offered us , that we can stay in the palace premises and enjoy the pool even after the checkout (Thankyou for that). But we left as it was very hot outside.||Overall i would like to conclude by thanking the entire Taj Falaknuma staff for the splendid hospitality. keep up the good work. My apologies for the staff whose names i forgot.|I took few pictures of the staff but I'm not posting them as i didn't inform them beforehand.|Would definitely visit again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient throughout our stay. They were always helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The palace team has always been friendly, patient, and helpful. That impressed me the most. Thank you!

Mr. Srinivasan was very helpful to help me get to my USA interview on time. He was very polite and made my stay very easy. Overall taj falaknuma was such a luxurious experience. Right from the royal entrance to the beautiful rooms. The staff were professional and very helpful.

We have travelled extensively, and I have written hundreds of hotel reviews on TripAdvisor. And I can say that the Taj at Hyderabad is one of the very best hotels we have ever stayed at||All details have been professionally and meticulously planned. Right from you arrival by horse drawn carriage and a rose petal welcome. Through the little extras in your room . Through your meals. To your farewell.||We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotels and its services. And they put on various included extras, like afternoon tea every day and a tour of the Palace||The Nizams of Hyderabad, who built the Palace, were at that time the richest men in the world. They did not stint on creating a luxurious environment, and we are reaping the reward today||I did mention to the management about the one small flaw we came across. This was the pool-boy requiring us to sign a legal waiver each time we used the pool. This seemed excessive, and I suggested to them that guests sign it on check-in if they really thought it necessary||But I repeat what I said at the start of this review, it is truly one of the great hotels in the world. Other hotels have a great deal to live up to, in order to match the sort of stay offered here.
