Hornbill Farm Retreat- Organic getaway, Functions near Hyderabad

I agree with most of the 1 star reviews. The owner needs a training on hospitality. Blunt and uninterested in the responses. In hindsight, that should have the hint to no proceed any further. The cabin room use terrible. Avoid it at all cost. No ventilation, no proper locks. Ac didn't work. Filthy water cooler giving bad odour. The room was a disaster. It's unmanageable in summer. To top it there is a constant drainage smell in the room. The owner likely knew about the ac issues. Still he accepted our booking. I bet he wouldn't stay a day and night in that room. Save yourself trouble and stay away for better peace of mind. The ac room is a disaster. The caretakers were alright. But they were helpless with the above mentioned issues.

Really beautiful place to stay. We loved the Cabins. The bedding was superb. The food was exceptional and plentiful. We loved our bird watching walk with the Caretaker . Lush greenery and unique stay so close to the city

What a wonderful place. From being greeted by the Lush greenery and Vast area to waving a fond farewell, a perfect stay. |Everyone friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Special mentions must go to the cook who cooked up delicious fresh dishes.

Hornbill Farm Retreat serves a perfect staycation place. It has lush gardens, beautiful cottages & tree houses, good hospitality, and thoughtful facilities! Minute things like, clean washrooms, well-cut trees near the cottage, rooms are well maintained with fragrances, a lotus pond, gave a 5 star impression during our stay. The only con is the fear from animals. We spotted numerous Frogs, Spiders & Snakes around our cottage which may not too much for the humans but a matter of concern for pet owners. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely terrible service. Not at all hygienic that one might end up with flu coz of the mosquitos and insects due to no maintenance! The person who answers the phone call for booking is super rude and doesn't even have basic manners to talk to customers! Their website is just for nothing, they don't take those bookings seriously! Inspite of booking for couple days on the site they promised a room upgrade but when checked again they asked to vacate right after day 1 telling us they can't upgrade the room since they have taken another booking! Poor management

Absolutely wonderful! From the room to the staff to the food, everything was perfect. Hope I will make it back to Hornbill sometime soon :) We stayed in the Jungle Lodge Cottage ! Perfect weekend escape from Hyderabad! Will come soon

Don't get fooled by the photos. We booked the cottage bcz we needed 2 rooms. But the rooms are primitive and dingy. With no AC it was like renting a 1 star hotel. They are selling it as a farm experience but it's nothing but a hoax. Caretakers tried helping but the owner/ person incharge was rude & didn't give a damn. Over all pathetic is the word for this experience.

Terrific experience. There is no maintenance at all. No one understands what we are speaking. Took a room for 4 where there is bunk bed which is very dusty and not at all cleaned. No proper power supply didn't take care of the maintenance atleast an hr before we arrive. There were frogs and mice in the room, we vacated at midnight as we couldn't stay in such a room. No lights in in the walkway during nights. Very scary experience.
