Nightmare of a Stay- experience at this hotel was awful from start to finish. The place is poorly maintained, with stained bathrooms, non-functional showers, and no hot water. The curtains and blankets had cigarette burns. The room overall has a musty smell and the pillows and covers are soiled. It's simply disgusting. I was constantly bitten by bed bugs. Each room had a strong musty smell -- I changed rooms three times, yet each one was just as bad. The restaurant served the same limited breakfast and dinner buffet every day. I couldn't take it anymore and moved out after just two days. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay.

The hotel is a sight to behold. As you drive up towards a Lumbini Park it's one of the most iconic landmarks in Hyderabad. |As we drove up at approx 2 pm we were surprised with lack of hotel staff. No porters. We're around not was any body at reception. After waiting around a kind gentleman gave us old fashioned paperwork to fill out and after 15 to 20 minutes and calls to the receptionist we were given keys to rm 315. A porter came and helped carry the luggage up the stairs. This is no ramp to accessiblity is hard. |Room 315 was old and had lots of mould in the bathroom and the place looked like a prison cell with bare wall. It wasn't the room I had paid for so after talking to receptionist we were shown to a different room 512. This was spacious as the first one but looked like the room I had seen and booked. The decor is dark to suit the medieval theme. The bed and pillows are very comfortable but linen was stained and tired. Basic ammenities like soap and body wash is provided. The bathroom needed a deep clean cos there was soap scum deposits and mould on the walls. The toilet in rm 512 leaked water from the flushe every time the button was pressed.|Breakfast in the morning was mid with same traditional food and no continental option. The restaurant looked dirty with dirty kettles for serving coffee n tea. The cabinets and floor was dirty and had not been cleaned for sometime as shown in the pics. |When leaving the staff were kind enough to keep our luggage for late check out. We were given a tiny space to pack our shopping before our mid night flight. However there were no porters so my husband had th carry our luggage down the steps alone. |This place is beautiful however needs a deep clean to restore it to former glory. More trained staff would be helpful also.

This is honestly the WORST hotel I have ever visited in my life... please don't be fooled by the Google pics and reviews, as they might look pleasing... but in reality the rooms are VERY OLD where there are marks on the wall and the washroom looks VERY old with patches of algae growing near the sink and toilet... the AC wasn't working properly, the electricity went out in the night which was suffocating considering my only way of survival in the hot city was a fan... VERY disappointed with this hotel, PLEASE go for another option and don't fall into this trap.

Stayed here on April2025, Got charged extra 1K per person. Selected 3 occupancy room, by mistake or my ignorance - 1guest1room was booked even though room had 3 occupancy. So called "As per the hotel policy" paying extract felt like extraction. Pro 1. Only location is great near local tourist attractions Cons 1. Not worth the price your paying. 2. Extreme less light & poor ventilation inside hotel plus in room (Pictures presents bright rooms, in reality too low natural+electric lights) 3. Gives a creepy ghosty feel at night not recommended if you have fear phobia (warm white/yellow lights everywhere) 4. Bathroom and washroom was not proper cleaned, No towels No napkins 5. Too old furnitures requires modern touch

It was nice stay. Property is vintage Location is good. Property is not having demand due to there high price. They should reduce cost and get more customers and improve their profitability.

I stayed at amrutha castle on a family trip and we enjoyed every bit about it. First of all the staff were very welcoming with a smile always no matter what time you speak to them. Srinivas the manager --- you hardly find a helpful manager who takes time to understand your needs an help address them quick, his experience and customer attention is great!

The Hotel is good from the out side but the rooms are low quality. The Ambience is good. And the lights in the room are warm so it's very bad according to the colour scheme in the hotel. And most important thing the LIFT DONT WORK AT ALL. Because it's a five story building you need the lift.

I am currently staying at so called Amrutha Castle, my experience was extremely disappointing. The cleanliness of the hotel is unacceptable. What is even worse is the cockroaches I encountered everywhere. It's alarming to find pests in a hotel that should be offering a clean and safe environment for guests. The overall maintenance of the hotel seemed lacking, which is a shame because the building itself has potential with its unique architecture. However, the state of hygiene and pest control is a major issue that needs immediate attention. I would strongly advise management to address these cleanliness concerns to ensure that future guests do not have the same unpleasant experience. I won't be returning, and I cannot recommend this hotel to others. Posting pictures for the reference. Doesn't deserve a single star.
