Grand Continent Hotels

During my recent stay in Secunderabad, I had the pleasure of staying at The Grand Continent Hotel, and the experience was commendable. Ambiance & Setting: The hotel offers a cozy yet elegant ambiance, with well-maintained interiors and a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Room Quality: The room I stayed in was spacious, well-ventilated, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was comfortable but would have preferred some LED white lighting instead of yellow. Cleanliness & Hygiene: Top marks for hygiene! The toilet was clean, and daily housekeeping ensured everything remained spotless throughout the stay. Food: The in-house dining experience was good. The food was flavorful, well-portioned, and served fresh. While the menu wasn't overly extensive, it covered enough variety to suit most tastes. Service: The service was prompt and courteous. The staff was always polite and helpful, responding quickly to requests with a smile. Price: Considering the amenities and comfort provided, the pricing was quite reasonable and offers good value for money. Location: Located in a convenient part of Secunderabad, the hotel provides easy access to major landmarks and transport hubs including Metro. Overall Experience: My stay at The Grand Continent Hotel was comfortable and hassle-free. I would definitely recommend it to travelers looking for a neat, affordable, and well-managed place in the heart of secunderabad.

It is definitely a major remake from the earlier hotel before Sarovar obtained it. The exterior, entire interiors and rooms have been refurbished, the lights are better and the overall ambience looks great. The front office is friendly and professional and the service is prompt. There was a minor issue in the 1st room I was allocated and they immediately gave me an alternate room. The coffee/tea stuff and the mini bar is amply stocked. While no issues faced, I think Housekeeping can be improved. Breakfast was normal and I feel they should offer more continental items. Location wise, it's very close to the Sec'bad Railway Station and right opposite my workplace. There is a good veggie restaurant right next door. Overall, value for money. Will stay again. ||

Rooms' condition, hygiene, and room service are pathetic. Lots of cockroaches in the room were not maintained. No one picked up our call at reception intercom . Breakfast limited items but ok. Not value for money paid. Disappointed stay..

We choose grand continental Secundrabad since it is Sarovar managed property. Me and my wife booked in this hotel from19th to 23nd Oct 24 but checked out on 22nd oct 24. |Pros : Good location, recently revamped property, good breakfast , restaurant is done up nicely.|Cons: The room upkeep and maintenance needs to be done properly. While checking in we were allotted room 307 and on entering the room we noticed water seepage on the wall above the kettle area . Also the shower was not functioning. Hence we requested for change of room. We were immediately changed to room 308 by the front desk. |Next day morning we noticed that the kettle had stains in it ( tea stains and corrosion ) since not washed for a long time. Also the commode had yellow stains. We informed the front desk while leaving and they said they will rectify. On return in the night we noticed that they have not attended to both the issues. So next day morning we informed the front desk again and they again assured that it will be rectified. Again on return in the night we observed that nothing has been done inspite of our repeated complaint. Next day we checked out since they are not bothered about the hygiene / cleanliness of the rooms.

I (female) stayed alone here with my kid for Visa purposes. The hotel and the services were excellent. Had a safe and good stay there for 2 nights. The checkout timing also were good. They cleaned the room as well very neatly. All my service requests were answered promptly. No kids channel. I had some issues with the Uber /ola cab drivers as they were asking for 1400+ for a 250Rs ride , 1st day, I paid the money and went to the temple and the cab driver showed me the parking were all the drivers wait for the riders and how they all talk with each other and decides the rates when the customer books through Uber and ola. 2nd day also these cab drivers did the same and I got emotional and Mr. Saddiq helped us promptly in booking cab and auto. And that Auto harmed me only Rs 150. So then I understood if the distance is less go for auto!

I found this hotel a bit expensive for the quality of stay and service it offers. Rooms are very old and need maintenance. Bathroom is even more old with non functional lock, cracked toilet seat and slippery floor. And there are cockroaches in the room. Only relief is the breakfast which I found very good. Location is also good.

Good conference hall. The place is good. Food can be a lot better. Other than the food part, the rest is excellent. Staff are very cordial.

The rooms are near and clean. The service is fast. Hotel staff are very cooperative.
