Cholai Resorts & Hotels

We stayed there when we visited yercaud. The stay is 5 kms from yercaud town and no ships available nearby the property. You would need to travel 5kms. The room contained an old storage unit which was too old and slanted. We thought it'd fall over. The bed wasn't that comfortable. Only 2 water bottles provided for 2 days stay for 2 people. They don't have a working fridge if we want to store anything. On the first day we ordered dinner and it was awful, better to go out and eat in a hotel, the prices for the food is also too high. The staff don't maintain cleanliness and hygiene. We asked 2 plates to have our food and the staff did not wash the plate properly, we had to wash it again in our room. The garden view and the forest view is the same, garden view is on the ground floor without any sitout area and the forest view is on the 1st floor with a small sitout area. The parking is in a small plot opposite to the property and if there are more than 2 cars, you'll not be able to park your car without blocking others. We went in March which was off season and the prices were too high. We regret paying so much and choosing such a terrible place to stay.

I stayed there this new year with my family for around 3 days. It was totally nice. The food was prepared based on our wishes. Engg gravy, idly, dosa, chappathi and chicken gravy at an affordable price. They can prepare food for a 2 year old baby also. Good gesture from them. The second room is not connected with Wifi. The range is low. Everything is good. We enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the host.

We had stayed here for a couple of days . Worst ever experience we had here. Worst ever service from management Side as well food is not up to the mark. Food are not provided as per our choice, if we order something that won't be properly served. Rooms are not kept clean. We saw cigarettes over the table which are not properly cleaned. If we ask management regarding that, they're carelessly telling that is not their fault. Floors are slippery.

Worst stay in Yercaud. No hygiene No clean rooms . No proper services . Workers are very arrogant. Food was too costly for below average taste .

The rooms were very spacious, comfy beds. The view was beautiful too. I'd strongly suggest rooms on the first floor. Coming to service, mahadevan there was very prompt and his wife and him cooked really well. Their dishes had a typical flavour of the region and were really yum and simple. I gave the location 3 stars just because of the approach to the location. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

We went with great expectations. The place is decent but definitely not a resort. It has only four rooms and a good helping family. The place is quite inside with a poor road for the last two km. The rooms are average for the price, the bathrooms are even smaller. Yercaud seems very expensive, this is definitely not worth the cost. A decent stay at best

Best garden view and homemade cooking by them was very nice.. My kids also liked the food.. We ate chapathi, chicken gravy, idly, dosa, sambar, thengai chutney... Everything was superb.. And must try the coffee there.. We bought that coffee powder in shop also..Felt the room was looking dull in that colour.. Else everything was very nice.. Outside view was awesome..

This place is small but very good and calm. Almost gives the feel of staying admist the forest. The homely food prepared and served was very delicious and of good quality. Even the complimentary breakfast is good but only few dishes are available.
