Hotel GRAND KUBERA

The only best hotel in Villupuram. Located in the heart of the town. It's inside the shopping mall with multiplex. Rooms are really clean with all amenities. Complimentary breakfast is also good with mini meals. You spend time here while staying. Parking is available in and around the shopping plaza, so need not to worry about it.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Executive room is very nice. Stayed for 1 day in deluxe room which is not good. Food arranged in Bojanalaya which is very nice.

Located on the backside of mahalakshmi plaza. The room which was provided to us was not very good (it was old). The service is very good but the room key was given to us after repeatedly asking. (Room no 1002,1008)

Hotel Grand Kubera is located behind one of the most busiest Shopping Complex in Villupuram. The roads leading to the hotel are often crowded and it is difficult to locate the hotel. The rooms are clean, and the service is good. The hotel has tie-ups with the restaurant in the shopping complex for the complimentary breakfast. Whilst the hotel has good amenities for the price you pay, the parking is a huge disappointment! There is very limited parking space available and in most cases it is the customers coming to the shopping mall who occupy the dedicated parking spots.

I booked For 1 person and I said maybe one person will also join but it's not for sure) I said )then they shared me the rent details for single person 2,372 and double person is coming rent is 2723 they shared and I paid advance 2k only 1person stayed and finally they got money for 2persons and they re saying they'll not refund the amount

The entrance to the hotel is from the back side of Magalakshme Plazza. Hotel is on the 3rd floor and to reach the lift, one has to climb stairs. This complex also has a supermarket and a cinema hall and gets very crowded on weekends. Hence, parking can be an issue. This place is close to the railway station (approx 20 min walk). Though I booked a suite, the room (#1018) allotted to me didn't look like one. The room is centrally air condioned and was clean including the bedding. Bathroom was clean. However the faucets are old with water stains and the water doesn't flow smoothly. The bathroom drain definitely needs attention. Service is decent. Madurai Appu; multi cuisine restaurant is situated in the same building. Can't comment on the quality as I didn't visit the restaurant. I found this place to be priced steeply considering this is an average hotel in Villupuram.

Overall it's an average experience. Rooms are clean but bathrooms need improvement - showers are rusted and unable to use. Bathroom is slippery. Location: it's behind the mall and crowded. Car parking is a trouble. Service: Food is decent. Reception desk is responsive.

I gave 5 stars so that my review would be on top.. staying wise this is the best ambience hotel with nice room smell(for room 1029).. 2900rs per day almost.. but rooms were luxury, big...sofas were dusty.. It is near railway station within 1km, in mahalakshmi mall backside entrance.. using lift facility you can go to 3rd floor.. they will provide complimentary breakfast in 2nd floor Bojunalaya restaurant... It was good.. now coming to the point- when we were out, we came back to see that the coffee packets, milk packets, sugar packets which were provided to us were missing in the room( kettle was provided for coffee making)... When we questioned them, they said rats took it and went .... But it is a mall with hifi environment how rats would come inside room...?? No hole also... The reception guys had extra key, they would open your room and steal the coffee milk sugar packets and use it.. But since Villupuram has no other place for staying you can opt this hotel and strictly say the reception guys to be secure..vacate exactly within 24 hours so that no extra charge or fight!
