Veena Residency

Very very bad old rooms, stayed there for 3 days and left vellore because of their money hungry nature, along with staffs, hotel manager Appu demanded tips who did nothing for me, also even after paying advance money for 3 days stay we have to pay another thousand as security deposit, which is so annoying. Ac runs at constant temperature and fan doesn't have regulator. Avoid this hotel at any cost.

Worst experience,,they provide bad quality furniture and if broked up then thy demand money for this,,and very rude behaviour by receptionist,, having power cut issue and they don't have generator also,, very worst hotel in vellore don't go there,, they will take high amount but services was poor,,no room maintenance,,nothing,, 0rating

I am staying in this residency from 10 days. Service is supper and opposite to the CMC silver gate. Staff and hospitality is supper . I have attached their price of rooms and contact number too. I am satisfied so much with them. Giving only 4 stars because of one reason they don't have wifi.

Though I mentioned 2nd best..there's a huge gulf between 1st i.e. Aavana Inn and this hotel. I would definitely get a room if you booked in advance which is not the case for most hotels in Vellore. The staff are friendly but they are very few in no. i.e. 5. They have room service but dats pretty slow. The ac rooms are not up to the mark..some rooms are bone chilling cold (coz they don't have thermostat) while some rooms do not cool at all..the tv viewing experience is horrible coz local cable operator provides mostly regional channels. In spite of all these, it is one of the cleanest and nicest place to stay IF YOU ARE A CMC PAITENT

rooms are old, not well lit, AC vent was right in the middle of the bathroom! the room service was not proper, rate per night was Rs. 1100 but hotel staff told they will provide bill of only Rs. 999 and not 1100. they cited some absurd reason of the counter boy being a new joinee and some tax excuses. I argued and then they finally gave me back Rs 200 in cash. I will never prefer to stay there in future.

We had booked double bed A/C room but most of the time A/C were not working. When we requested for non-A/C room since their A/C were not working, they said there is no A/C available. I believe they told it intentionally because we came here for treatment and we had to inform police about our stay. If we change our hotel we have to report to police again, they have taken this as an advantage. Most unfortunate thing is that they have taken one day extra rent using their fraudent. When we checked in they said 24 hours check-in/ check-out facility and it was 3:05pm 22th April 2015 but they have charged rent for 21th April 2015 by telling that their check-in time 3:45 pm. Ridiculous, they have charged full day rent only for 40 minutes even they did not tell about it when we checked in. We can wait 40 minutes easily in their lobby or any restaurant if they would inform about their checkin time but they said 24 hours check-in. Very funny.

I stayed first time in Veena Residency. Thought of sharing my expr as I did not find any feedback/review before chosing this one. This is pure lodge as they do not have restaurant. However provide food from outside on request. This lodge is close to CMC hospital so anyone coming to CMC is a good option. Again this is good option for people with low to midium income group and chosing non a/c double room in the range of Rs. 500. A/C double room is Rs. 1100. Though I found little difficulty in running a/c. It seems they do not go for regular a/c maintenance. Room is not as clean as you will find in "Star" hotel so I found a decent lodge with value for money.

They hardly change the bedsheet. I have been there for three nights. Dustin is placed at corridor near the entrance door but the rubbish and waste never thrown. Have seen the rubbish thrown in the bin by me for 3 three days. Front desk not that customer friendly
