Worst of the rooms ever. Its an old and stinking bad hotel ever i have been. Dont come or be fooled by photos. I was duped of 5000 for one room. Makemytrip take note i want refund

Rooms were not clean. Telephone not In working condition. No cleaniness also not in good condition. Location was good but poor maintained

The owner ( probably father i.e an old man called as manager ) of this place is cunning he sold us a bad room saying it's good, the room smelled like drainage it was more at early morning ( I guess some problem with drainage pipes in the hotel ). I suffered a lot and couldn't breath and sleep was completely disturbed it's better I could have slept on the road rather than to take a room here, absolute nasty in here. For such a worst room he charged me 2000 no wonder his Ratings were less ( 3.6 ) I should have been alert and i can bet even the manager would hesitate if asked to stay in this room ( room no. 109 or 09 ) . Completely fraud hotel, earning on someone else's suffering is not good !!! (Ps : msg for the owner . )

This is one of the oldest star hotel in this city it seems. Lack of maintenance. But rooms are spacious. Ample car parking available. Air conditioner was good. Friendly staffs. Breakfast was really nice. Safety place to stay with family members.

The worst experience I ever had. I had been to Vellore with my family on 10th July 2019 and booked this hotel over the phone. We reached and checked in and were allocated a double bed AC room. The room was absolutely horrible, bathroom was very old and stains could be seen on the walls. The curtain and window was broken and it was being covered. When we asked for an additional blanket they gave us a bed sheet (dirty). The person at the counter was not aware as what was being given to us, they told us that blankets are over and the person who takes care of the store has gone home, such a pathetic level of service. We went to the reception, complained and requested them to change our room but there was no availability due to rush at VIT. To our shock and surprise, we saw even a lizard in the room. The bedsheet had dirt over it. The break fast was complimentary but was cold. When we reached at the hotel restaurant for the breakfast, it was all over and they had empty containers. We requested them to bring us breakfast items available like Idli, Dosa, Bread etc. We were told that Bread was over. Can you ever imagine that you go for a breakfast and you are told that Bread was over? On top of that, when we spoke to hotel people they looked as if they did not care. I put a written complaint in the register and realized that some other guests have also written horrible reviews. The only silver lining for us was that we wanted a fridge in the room and they provided that to us. They have a big property, old one and not maintained at all. I would never ever recommend this Hotel to anyone. Please don't go there unless you really have some emergency and can not go anywhere else.

Pretty much run down - the restaurant was empty when we walked in on a Friday evening. The open bar outside was okay but the staff needs to be more courteous and welcoming. We had to wait for 10 minutes before calling the waiter ourselves. Prepare yourself for lots of mosquitos. They do provide the coils for the insects, but not sure if they work or not. Did not visit the indoor bar. Not worth spending your money here

The hotel is situated away from the main city. It is an old one. The charm of old world luxury is evident.It is in a way obsolete in today's intricately designed hotels. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms are big. Cleanliness is a bit lacking. AC did not work in our friend's room.We did not get complimentary breakfast because we booked online. The restaurant offered standard south Indian dishes. On the whole, it was a good stay.

Could do a lot better. I'm not sure how to rate this hotel because this hotel does not advertise an official star rating. Apparently this was the first star hotel in the region!. Sadly this hotel has been outdone by other hotels nearby ( GRT regency is only a stone throw away). We stayed in a premier room. There was nothing premier about the room. Pretty basic. Could do with a lick of paint. Aircon in the room was more like an air cooler than an air conditioner. The toilet and bathroom were dated. Nothing was complimentary in the room/toilet. We had to ask for complimentary soap and extra towel. The WiFi was hit and miss (more miss than hit). The bed was of adequate standard. I had south Indian meals in one of the restaurants downstairs. It was of average quality. Car parking was adequate and the hotel is easy to find and access. Staff were friendly. Overall as I first said before this place could do with a face-lift. However it needs to be said that cost of a premier room here is half the price of a superior room in GRT regency.
