OYO Banu Residency

The hotel location is very close to New bus stand. The person in the reception was very kind in receiving the guests. They provide toiletries. The room was very good. The lobby was very pleasant. The lift service was appreciable. The washrooms are well maintained and cleaned. No mosquito problem. The hotel itself is a new building so no worries for look and appearance. The rates were as what fixed by oyo. Parking facility is available. No extra charging. To conclude i had a pleasant stay in Banu residency for three days.

I went for a stay in this hotel on 7th may but got a very misbehaving attitude from owner and staff. I have a corporate booking and asked for a better connectivity of wifi they start shoutinf that we dont promise and if u want to cancel you can. Without any reason that was bit funny. They dont provide early checkin you have to wait 1 hour for checkin at 1 o clock also. They dont provide service staff will say no on your face and you cant question them. Its not a hotel its a dirty guest house where Rickshaw wala can stay . Not good for family and couples. Bachelors with low budget can waste money at this hotel. Road is also very bad condition. Prefer to book another hotel.

On 7th May i booked this hotel and waited there for half an hour because they are not providing early checkin I asked a very simple question whether your wifi is working or not they said we cant guarantee if u want to cancel u can . Most miss behaving staff and hotel owner ever seen in life. Will not recommed this hotel ever. Even though they are abussing there partner OYO for sending customer and customer thing he is king. I have to change my hotel then and there. Never ever take this property its cheap plus its cheap in terms of everything. No quality of rooms and hotel.

The owner of this residency is very humble and soft spoken, and the facilities are quite good. The hotel is located in a very quite and calming surroundings, with a hilly backdrop. It is located around 300 - 400 m from the Green Circle, and on the opposite side of the new bus stand so it is easy to get around from here.

Very helpful staff and cleanly maintained but has only the most basic amenities. Located very close to a very busy area so getting to hotel in evening traffic was difficult. Saravanna Bhavan is in walking distance so food was not an issue. Hot water for bath available only from 6 to 9 in morning. Bring your own towels - hotel will give if you ask but they have been told to stop this service as part of Covid restrictions. It is alright for a night's stay

came to vellore for operation and staying here for last 4 days. As I'm patient the hotel stuffs are paying more attention on me. The owner of the hotel is a very nice gentleman and his manager too. My family members went back to Kolkata after operation but these people are taking care of everything. They are like family member. Now comes to hotel and rooms- It's a new construction, you will get every facility along with warm hospitality. They will come up with food service soon till then if any one wants to order something they sent their boys to bring that. Rooms are big and very clean. Beds are good. House keeping stuffs are also very good. Overall it's a very very nice place to stay and near from Cmc too.

The hotel is located very near to new bus stand, Vellore. The rooms are neat and clean. However the rooms size is small and no extra bed can be accommodated. The room service staff is slow to respond and may not respond properly if not knowing Tamil. Anyway good restaurants are nearby so fooding is not a problem. Rooms are quite and no disturbance.

It's an okayish hotel. I booked this hotel through OYO to attend my friend marriage in Vellore. I started at 2PM in Erode and drove my car to reach the hotel in the night 9 PM. Although their check-in time is 11 AM, I already called and informed them about my late arrival. The marriage was next day early morning 5:30 AM. So I have time only to take rest and get up early morning to leave the hotel. Once I checked in, i found that the there is no hot water in bath room taps. I somehow managed with cold water that night and slept. To my bad, the hotel was only equipped with Centralized Solar Water heater and no dedicated water heater for each room. It's mid of December and climate was chill. Hotel caretaker said, water heater won't work at early morning hours. Next day morning, i woke up st 4:00 AM and called Hotel caretaker about hot water. He asked me to wait for sometime and brought bucket full of water in 15 min. And the day started for me with a bucket full of hot water. In a nutshell, many hotels are cutting individual water heaters and moving to Solar water heaters as a cost cutting measure. But it really affecting the visitors who's expecting such facilities. I just thought I could pen down my express thoughts. Choose your hotels wisely and Have a happy stay
