Khanna Fiesta, A Bergamont Hotel - Vellore

I stayed at Hotel Khanna Fiesta for two nights last month, choosing it as part of the Bergamot chain of hotels and based on the many positive reviews on Google and TripAdvisor. While I didn't have high expectations and was prepared for a moderate experience, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my stay.||||I generally prefer booking directly with hotels if the tariff isn't significantly higher than platforms like Agoda. Upon contacting Hotel Khanna Fiesta, Vellore after checking rates on Bergamot Hotels' official reservation portal, I was quoted a much higher price by the hotel staff. When I highlighted this discrepancy, they confirmed the higher price would be final and couldn't match the rate displayed on their own portal. It was an amusing situation, so I proceeded to book through the portal itself. The process was smooth, and I promptly received a proper confirmation email.||||Upon arriving, I noticed that the car parking area was shared with a restaurant in the same complex. However, the parking was well-managed, and I experienced no issues throughout my stay. The cozy room exceeded my expectations, being well-maintained and stocked with all essentials, including a clean and hygienic bathroom. The efficient air-conditioning was a welcome relief from the outdoor heat.||The reception staff recommended their in-house restaurant, Zing, for lunch. However, after seeing its Google rating of 2.8, I opted instead for a nearby vegetarian restaurant in the complex, which had a rating of 4.0. While the lunch there was just average, we skipped Zing again for dinner, choosing a fine-dining option within walking distance.||||The following morning, we had our complimentary breakfast at Zing, and to our surprise, it was much better than expected given its rating. The breakfast spread was adequate--not overly extravagant--but everything was delicious, especially their dosa, which was outstanding. Encouraged by this experience, we decided to try Zing for dinner. The buffet dinner, offered at a very reasonable price (with no a la carte option), turned out to be a delightful experience. Every dish was exceptionally tasty, and the variety catered well to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The restaurant staff were attentive, polite, and provided excellent service.||||We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Mr. Raman, whose humility and skill truly stood out. We complimented him on the delicious food and also mentioned the misleading Google rating, which had initially deterred us. The restaurant team seemed surprised but receptive to our suggestion to focus more on managing their online reviews. Zing also features an open terrace area and a large screen for enjoying live television, such as sports--an added touch.||||In summary, Hotel Khanna Fiesta is an excellent choice in Vellore, conveniently located near the Fort and main shopping areas. The rooms and their upkeep are impeccable, and the hospitality is commendable. A small suggestion: consider providing hand wash near the washbasins in the bathrooms.||||Do not miss dining at Zing restaurant, and savour the incredible food crafted by Chef Raman. Kudos to the Khanna Fiesta team for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Vellore.

Our recent stay at Khanna Fiesta in Vellore was a pleasant surprise. The hotel offers a comfortable and convenient base for exploring the city's historical and religious sites. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The strategic location of the hotel made it easy to access the nearby temple and fort, saving us time and effort. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet. The spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes to cater to different tastes. From traditional Indian fare to continental breakfast options, there was something for everyone. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Overall, Khanna Fiesta is a great choice for families and travelers seeking a comfortable and well-located hotel in Vellore.

Anjali Chouhan is very attentive and very caring, even understood the non verbal expressions like what we expect, the hospitality was very nice,, my anklet which was missed in the room was returned to me stating a beautiful note

The food is a big disaster . Spl veg biryani is full of oil, chilli paneer is not at all good there was some kind of fungus , dosa chatny nd sambar is not good. After doing giri pradakshina we went directly with alot hungry but literally I was about to cry because of food, it is not at all edible . Street food is 100% better than this food. Waiter is having very good behaviour, because of him only we haven't scolded the management.

I am originally from Vellore, but lately, I've observed that the service upstairs is very poor. The staff is slow to carry orders, and the new servers are not performing well. They often forget to keep the water filled, and if you order rice, we end up waiting another 10 minutes for sambar. I suggest it's better to dine downstairs instead of eating upstairs, where the service takes so long.

Terrible experience. The rooms were dirty and the sheets were stained. The room bell did not work and we had to call the reception everytime we had to open the door because of faculty key card. Power was cut twice and there was no backup. It was raining and the floor was flooded. Overall..if you are planning on going there- don't.

The food was nice and Tasty, the Spread also was good including salads, The staff Urmila,Anjali and Kamlesh have been very nice. Appreciate the Chef Raman for the good food.
