MGM Vailankanni Residency

The hotel is located directly on the main road, making it easy to reach all of Velankanni's attractions. The rooms are very clean, and the entire complex makes a good impression, considering its age. The staff is very accommodating, and Mr. Manivannan is extremely courteous and looks after your well-being around the clock, even helping you plan your onward journey or excursions. The food in the hotel restaurant is also very good...and the restaurant staff are very hard-working. My stay this week at the MGM Hotel was truly excellent; I can only recommend it and would book it again anytime.

The Hotel is clean but needs to be maintained, prices are way above the other hotels in the vicinity of the Chruch. Water issues remain a concern and apart from the towels need good cleaning, the water quality sucks, last 3 days we have yellow water been supplied for shower. Breakfast is good, however food served in the restaurant is priced way above the average compared to other hotels. Staff is very good and did provide hot water in buckets when there is no hot water. Quiet place and if price is balanced and hotel is maintained then it should be 4 Star rated.

Last week we had a pleasant stay at MGM Velankanni. This our 5th time visit to MGM The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was a perfect stay close to the church and beach. The food was hygienic and well-prepared with variety of spreads. Overall, a peaceful and refreshing experience. Would definitely recommend for families and pilgrims. Mr. Shyam offered great support in our entire stay.

Im from Sri lanka, and visited Valankanni Church for the first time. I stay for 2 days 1 night. All the staff is very good! Specially Vinoth and his team in the restaurant served us very well. Because we had various food allergies he able to customize our every meals.

I had a disappointing experience at MGM Vailankanni Residency. The rooms were not clean, and the toilets were extremely dirty upon check-in. For the price charged, I expected much better maintenance. The villa, in particular, felt like it hadn't been in use for months--dusty and neglected. While the management did clean the room after I complained, the overall upkeep was poor. Definitely overrated and overpriced. On a positive note, the restaurant food and service were good, but even then, I felt the overall pricing was on the higher side. Unfortunately, based on the accommodation experience, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

It's just 2 km away from the main church. It is so accommodating. Really liked it. We stayed for 1 night but were really impressed from hospitality; room service to food. Everything was served warm and with a smile on a face. Will definitely come again and stay here. Rooms are clean with clean bedsheets n towels. No complaints.

Excellent in all aspects including value for money! What makes the stay stress free and enjoyable is the service and attitude of the staff. Front office Daniel, Alwin, Restaurant Arul and all room service staff deserve a special thanks!

We stayed here just a week ago . The new Grandeur rooms are very good. We have stayed earlier in the villas and also in the deluxe rooms on several occasions. What was most admirable was that the staff here are very obliging. Service is good and the food this time was the best. To be bale to get this standard of food with variety and taste is very difficult. Hats off to their Chef there. We also thank Mr. Manivanan , Guna , and the front office staff specially for their prompt and very courteous service. We look forward to our visit next year again.
