Clinton Park Inn

We stayed at the Clinton Hotel last week and overall had a pleasant experience. We were ushered in with cold bottles of limonita which was a blessing after our long drive from the airport. The staff were very helpful in assisting us with our luggage, to attending to our requests whenever required. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, which made for a relaxing stay. However, the bathrooms could use some attention--especially the shower area. The glass was foggy and didn't look as well-maintained as the rest of the room. With a bit more upkeep in the bathroom, this place could easily be a solid pick for a city stay.

I booked room in clinton park inn, Velankanni through Make My trip app. I believed that the hotel would be very decent but the hotel administration was not decent. I was given room number 401 in 4th floor on 18/04/2025. The room was neat and clean in the initial stage. When I switched on the Air conditioner the room started urine smell. It was an horrible experience. Then 6 hrs later we were given room no. 402, the AC was not working in that room. Then again we changed the room and we were given room no. 406. For few hours the room was good then again urine smell started inside the room. I checked the room toilet and it was neat and clean. I started to put perfume and powder to battle the urine smell. The mine snacks given to us was rosted almond, cashew, dairy milk Chocolate, Bisleri water bottle and bingo chips. The Clinton partk inn charged Rs.42 for 1 liter Bisleri water bottle and the same water bottle cost is just Rs. 20 as per MRP. Bingo chips MRP. Rs. 5 but in clinton park inn it is Rs. 20. The cashew and pistachio was charged including all tax and its MRP was Rs.95 each packate. The Clinton park charged Rs.120 for each packet of pistachio and cashews. The Clinton park inn is charging double than GST price of snacks items. The hotel breakfast is reasonable but lunch and dinner are very costly with average taste food. The Clinton park hotel will gave us bill charges on the heading of 'caravela' and they hide original food name and its price. Fake GST invoices given by this hotel. This hotel room does not give proper car parking facility for small cars. I arrived at hotel on 18/04/2025 and check out on 20/04/2025. The room was always noise due to poor window and door condition.

Clinton Park Inn is one of the well-known hotels in Velankanni. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, offering a pleasant stay. The customer service was satisfactory, with staff being polite and responsive. However, the food was disappointing, which was a letdown considering the overall experience. If they improve the food quality, it would be a great place to stay. Overall, a good choice for accommodation, but food options might need reconsideration.

We enjoyed stayed here at Clinton Park Inn. Though we arrived late in the night, the room was readily available. Check in was a breeze. The staff at the front office was courteous and quickly took care of us. Breakfast was decent with varieties of food. We asked for a dosa roast which was not in the buffet, but we were served. Good value for the money. Thanks Clinton for this courtesy.

It's overly priced. The room was average. The bedsheets and towels didn't look clean. We saw the cleaning staff placing the towels on the bathroom floor when cleaning the room. The lift is tiny and stuffy without a fan. The place where breakfast is served is dark and dingy. The buffet breakfast is a spread of only 7-8 dishes and they charge Rs. 260/plate. One of the staff members was helpful but one was pretty blunt. It's not any kind of a star hotel. It's just a higher version of a lodge.

The stay was started happily and ended up horrible in this hotel.... non of the plug points worked well, so you cannot charge your mobile phones. They were having TV just for showcase nothing worked and TV display condition was very bad so we didn't switched on.. but above mentioned points are somehow manageable.. The worst thing is especially their securities they have requested us to provide car key in the reception so we have provided. In the night time those guys parked our vehicle somewhere outside and the car body was full of filled with birds waste and completely dirty in the morning and we got shocked... Their securities are wrost in behavior, they were talking to us very rudely and worst experience we had while vacating the hotel... I don't recommend this hotel to anyone who go with their family members... Best part is location which is a kilometer to reach either the main church or beach...

Great Stay in Vailankanni! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel CLINTON PARK INN in Vailankanni. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the church and other attractions. Breakfast was tasty, and overall, it was great value for the price. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!
