Annai in Saravana Bhavan Fine Stay and Restaurants - Beach Road

I don't think you acted on the comments people made in past reviews. If that had been the case, I wouldn't have had a bad experience. However, I will tell you about it. I went (Annai in Saravana Bhavan Fine Stay and Restaurants Beach Road, near the church) there for breakfast and lunch on 23rd March 2025. The sambar was small for the parcel I bought masala dosa, idly, pongal in the morning, and the price of the vada was very high. Then at lunch they didn't give side dishes (guttu and fries are missing) in the parcel. We give you money, but it does not serve the right quantity I went in the evening and complained. But they did not take any action. He says, I do not know how it happened. It's an irresponsible answer. I'm very disappointed. Please make sure this doesn't happen in the future. I hope you do.

We stayed at Annai Inn Saravana Bhavan in Velankanni on March 4, 2025, for a day. When I sent our details via WhatsApp to book the room, they promptly confirmed our reservation without requiring any advance payment. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the room was spacious enough for the two of us. Its location is ideal, with the church just nearby and the beach within walking distance. The restaurant next to the hotel serves delicious and enjoyable food. The staff at the reception were warm, welcoming, and even arranged a cab for our return trip to Nagapattinam. Going forward, we've decided to make this our go-to hotel whenever we visit Velankanni. We do have a few suggestions that, if implemented, could enhance the experience and make guests even happier: Offer morning coffee by around 5 AM so guests can prepare for the 6 AM Mass at the Shrine. Include a complimentary breakfast, as many other hotels do. Provide newspapers for guests. Upgrade the TV sets to Android TVs to allow access to OTT platforms. Enable digital payment options for added convenience.

I am frequentl customer staying at saravana fine stay for the last 7 years. But for the last couple of years they always mess up my booking dates and the rooms i specifically ask for. When they take the booking with advance cash, they promise you that they will surely keep the requested room . I messaged them atleast 3 to 4 times before my check in date to confirm my dates and specific room. But they mess up no matter what. This is the second time they did the same mistake. Make sure u park your car safely in a place where u get enough light and camera focused. Or u will see fresh scratch marks or nail marks on your car. Be careful while u make the booking. But on the second day they helped me to move to the room i have requested . Rooms are neat and clean.

My good to go place for having breakfast or lunch or dinner while visiting velankanni. You can eat whatever here without the fear of getting health issues, from my experience most restaurant around velankanni serves stale food *except church canteen.

House keeping service is not perfect lower than beginning. We have call 2..3 times for our needs. Manager Arun performance is well good Manager Uday also good.

We were staying at another horrible hotel and looked for some other option on very short notice and found this. Rates are good for the quality and the service provided. The front office manager Arun is very very helpful and understanding. Rooms are clean, airy, well kept and the restaurant is amazing as every Saravana Bhavan usually is. You'll be 100% comfortable and happy staying here. You'll get the beach view from 3 to 4 rooms as far as i understand but it's still worth it. Great location and very accessible.

Rooms for 4 k but just one power socket for the entire room which is absolute nonsense for the family room which accommodates 5 people
