Daffodil Inn

Daffodil Inn is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are very spacious. The quality of food is very good. The breakfast spread is worth the value. The staff is courteous... despite the language barrier the staff helped us with all our requests. The hotel is approx 10 minutes away from the Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health. Rickshaws are easily available. For those with their own cars it's a very comfortable place to stay. We were a group of 9 and everyone was very happy with the stay.

Place is an ideal one for stay. Locality is away from the crowded area of the church. Neat and tidy during our stay. Nice restaurant attached. My advice to the management is to just check the furnishings of the rooms occasionally so that they are proper on its own . My point here is on the curtains in the room whose hanger clips were found broken and the curtains were loose and looking ugly. Also try to keep menu cards in each of the rooms as you are having an attached restaurant. Also provide toiletries to each of the occupants of the room. If you're making a small attention to these then your hospitality will be recommended widely. Another one is your dormitory for visitors vehicle drivers are in very very poor form and cannot be used by the drivers. Since your hotel do not have single rooms we are not able to take a room for our drivers and that's why I am requesting you to provide a neat dormitory for visiting vehicles drivers. Otherwise , my stay with your hotel was comfortable and fine. Quality of of food is good as well your restaurant very neat. Keep it up. Our wishes for all the best in coming seasons.

Booked daffodil for the second time when visiting velankani. To be specific about its location, it is 1.5 kms away from church where if you want to commute by auto to church/beach they will charge around 100-150. Place is very calm and we slept peacefully without any vehicle sounds. It has a play area for kids and a parking facility. We opted for a deluxe room stay for 2, AC temperature was good, Bathrooms were clean and with hot water to bath facility. They have given a kettle. A small balcony with good view. We got a complimentary breakfast and paid for the lunch. Food was so good and it tastes so well. Overall we had a great experience. Will highly recommend if you want a calm Place to stay.

It is one of the cleanest hotels in Valenkanni. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Meals are very tasty, especially fish thali and chicken 65. Staff is very friendly and service is quick.

Was looking for hotels who'd let pets in, and had made many calls to hotels around Vellankanni. Everyone had pets allowed on their ads on booking.com and other apps but no one really allowed. Selva at the central booking from daffodil inn had a missed call from and he called back. He was polite and told me that allow pets in cages. When I told him I'll do the booking online he mentioned I'll be paying more and could do it through him, which was 750 INR lesser than the travel websites. Also he advices me to take two rooms as we were 4 ppl (2 senior citizens and my daughter, me and 5 cats). At the hotel we reached late, yet the reception desk was waiting for us and made sure we were given our rooms. Restaurant staff were polite and friendly. Food was good and decently priced.
