The Royal Honeychilk Palace

I stayed here. The place is super good. Very good craftsmanship. But the charge is bit high. Their charges starts from 9k. It's a compact home. There is no sight seeing places nearby. But if you are planning to stay in resort only just to enjoy the weather at night, then it's a good place. But still charging 9k is way more higher. May be they can include some activities. I have stayed in multiple chettinad style resorts before. One was in Chennai name is Marutham. They offer lot of activities but still the tariff is less. I'm ready to pay even more but it needs to be worth enough.

Had been here for a short stay. The place and ambience is wonderful. The house is built extraordinarily well with a blend of Chettinad and Kerala architecture. The rooms are spacious enough and very well maintained. The area of the property is quite vast for a large family gathering. Do go in large groups (8-12) for a better enjoyment! It is not pet friendly, so please be mindful. They have wifi, but sometimes the signal is a bit weak. 4G/5G signals are absolutely bad! The food was decent. Definitely, there is scope for improvement. Would recommend to have South Indian cooks also, for a better hospitality! Overall had a very pleasant experience right from booking, check-in, stay and check out to visit to have a screen view of Vatal Malai and to escape the city's hustle and bustle .

Cool weather ,good place,close by view points,Hardly 3 hours journey from Bangalore.

Outstanding Bungalow / Villa. Very well maintained. The staff and cook are very courteous. Food tastes great. The main highlight is the location and scenic views from this place. Just spellbinding. Great for a short family trip from Bangalore.

Our stay at HoneychilkPalace was truly unforgettable. The combination of beautiful surroundings, the chetinaud style and athangudi tiles gave a luxurious cum authentic look, accommodation was mesmerizing, outstanding homefoods like dining, and excellent service made for a perfect visit. Best suitable for couple visits, a family vacation, or a solo retreat. My kids enjoyed it very much and it was an ever lasting impression in our memories. I would recommend this for people who are really in need of a calm & peaceful place away from traffic/ noise and pollution ...

Excellent location, scenic drive, architecture of the house is too good. Hosts Mr Birender, cook Mr Arjun were excellent in their jobs. Mr Arjun cooked delicious meals for us. Overall an memorable stay for our family. Weather was an icing on the cake. Dr Venkatesh the owner of the house was welcoming.

It is one of the best places nearby to spend a day or two . The service was very good and the food was very tasty . The serenity of the place is the most attractive thing about this place . We were lucky to get great weather .
