Worst Experience with OYO - Left Stranded with Family and Kids, No Refund Provided I had one of the worst experiences with OYO and their associated hotel, "O Elegant" near Vandalur, Chennai. Despite paying the full booking amount in advance and receiving confirmation, when I reached the hotel late at night with my family (including two 4-year-old children), I was informed that no rooms were available. I immediately called the OYO service center, but they kept me on hold for 10-15 minutes before saying they would shift my booking to another hotel near Guduvanchery. After traveling again with my exhausted family, we reached the new hotel, only to find no one there to assist. A receptionist eventually showed up but completely ignored my queries. Frustrated, I contacted OYO customer care again. Each time, I was kept on hold for 15-20 minutes and told that the hotel manager was "not attending the call." In reality, the manager was drunk and sleeping inside the hotel. We spent more than 2 hours roaming on the road at midnight with small children, struggling to get a room that we had already paid for. To make matters worse, the contact number listed on Google was not the hotel's number but directly connected to OYO's call center, misleading customers. Even after all this ordeal, OYO has not provided any refund for my booking. Absolutely no professionalism, no accountability, and no customer care. Please do not trust OYO bookings, especially if you are traveling with family or kids. Since this is a public platform, I am avoiding the strong words that truly reflect my experience.

Please don't stay here , there's a creepy guy at the reception who won't even get you drinking water. I was so paranoid i couldn't sleep the entire night because I went with my wife.This operation is all run my only guy and the owner never bothers to even visit the place he manages lots of properties. The creepy guy at the reception doesn't give a damn about even the basic needs of a guest, you have wait for atleast an hour and constantly nudge him to get water delivered to your room. The first thing he asked for extra money even before I showed him the booking id.,then I had to call the customer and explain I booked it via oyo for 3 guests. I asked for a extra blanket which was denied because we were three people , if you can't service three 3 guests ,I don't know why the property allows us to book 3 guests options . And this was the second oyo room we booked for that particular day because the first one was too shabby ,never book rooms from oyo ever again . Though you're paying a little more ,look for a good hotel where you can stay peacefully if you're travelling with your family. It is not child friendly,it's not family friendly.

Two things to mention here, 1. The receptionist didn't know proper accommodation fare rates. 2. Need to negotiate for a better price with superior people.

Worst ever experience!!!! There's no proper drinking water at the venue . The guy at the reception desk denies even an extra blanket and directly asks for extra money even before check in process starts. He doesn't know how to talk to a customer, he's kind of creepy and I was paranoid over the safety the entire time . Please don't visit this place .

Worst experience, very bad service. Service provider is very rude and asked extra 700. Worst locations, lots of dogs around and the hotel is in a interior area which feels sketchy. I really advise you not to take this hotel.

Worst room ever it's not been cleaned they took very high price and condoms where fallen every where

They are asking for 500 rs extra per room over the booked amount. Please keep that in mind before booking
