Zen Vista

This hotel exceeded all expectations! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. I went on a solo trip to Valparai and stayed in this amazing resort Zen Vista. It has a breathtaking view from the room. You can enjoy the serene beauty of Valparai tea plantations from your bed. Zen vista is a newly built resort which is very accessible to many places. It also has restaurants close by and the bazaar is at a walkable distance. The resort manager and the owner were very friendly and were always available for any needs. Just go for it.

We went to Valparai without booking a hotel and didn't expect the weekend crowd to be so large, making it difficult to find a room in a decent hotel at a reasonable price. We saw a couple of hotels along the roadside just after the main market. Zen Vista had a nice view, and the attendant was friendly. However, the parking situation was a challenge. There was limited parking available inside the compound, and other vehicles had to be parked on a steep ramp. We had to hand over our car keys to the attendant, who would move the cars as needed when someone wanted to leave. The price for a one-day stay was too high given the level of service provided. Although a TV was provided, it was not working. There wasn't much to do except enjoy the tea garden view from the balcony.

Just wow! Stay was amazing with garden view from the room. Rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Had a pleasant stay.

Pros : 1. Room was very clean. 2. Amazing view from the glass room 3. Staff was friendly. He suggested places and restaurants. 4. Located in main city. Cons : 1. Bed size is small(queen size) . If you are going with kids you have to book big room. Suitable for couples. 2. Price is high. There is no complementary breakfast.

We have a pleasant stay at Zen VistaThe view room was amazing and the property has calm and lovely environment. Rooms are super clean and well maintained. Hospitality at the property is really commendable

The place is just walking distance from valaparai town. Room is neat and clean with fresh bedsheets and pillows. Room size is small, just a space to walk is available besides the bed. Wardrobe, table etc are there. Have a small balcony which opens view to a beautiful tea estate. The bathroom in our room didnt had any ventilation. No window, no exhaust fan. Thats the only downside i found. Dont know if all rooms have same issue.

We stayed at this hotel during the last week of May 2024. It's a brand new site with a great mountain view of the tea plantations right from the rooms with a separate compact balcony for each room. They offer quadruple and double rooms as per our requirements and the check in and checkout process were hassle free. Really thankful to the owner for having arranged the rooms for us as promised. Highly appreciable for the concern they showed towards their guests. The rooms and the toilets were Super Clean. The hotel is on the main road with a manageable space for car parking (Note: all other adjacent hotels had their guests' vehicles parked on the road throughout the stay). There's is no in-house restaurant in this hotel but there are restaurants just next-door to it, also small Tea shops, spices shops etc. since it is located in the town, nearer to the main sight seeing areas. Our overall stay at Zen Vista, Valparai was a memorable one.
