Stay with family of 8 people last night. Good stay and nearby restaurants available. They also provide you good homemade foods as requested. Pleasant stay with 2 rooms on the top of the property. Enjoyed the stay. Near to Bus stop gandhisillai and walkable to nearby eateries. Parking available for 5 vehicles in front of the resort. Very friendly person Mr. Mahesh the property himself maintained well. Highly recommended. They also provide cab rentals at reasonable price.

Friendly and responsive. The tour guide seems educated and knowledgeable. Took us to some very good places in valparai. Jungle safari was an add on. Safe and secure, was able to see most of the wild animals. Overall good experience. Must visit, near by shops and viewpoints makes this rooms stay much convenient and safe. Rooms where clean and tidy.

Absolutely loved my stay in this heavenly little homestay! The hosts have curated a beautiful garden, and it's a very peaceful and quiet place, despite being only a 5 min walk away from the town - which is very convenient! The hosts were very kind and full of good advice for the area too.Comfortable and home blended rooms with big washroom and all basic amenities inside of our budget . For 5 people we pay Rs.2500/- in week days and it's worth for staying in a good atmosphere.

We two families stayed for two days in the woodhouse. We felt really homely. Especially Mr. Magesh's attitude towards the guest was really appreciable. The woodhouse room is located at the Valparai main town. Bus depot, supermarket, tea shops, hotels restaurants all are located at 100-200 metres distance. During our stay the informations he shared with us commendable. We are having many plans in coming years to visit again this beautiful place.

Amazing experience! I honestly didn't expect the hospitality, the food or the wilderness experience to be of that level. I was pleasantly surprised at how well curated it all is. Right from the get go, a guide is assigned to you. This guide will be along with you during the safari, next day's early morning Trek and the bamboo rafting experience. The guides only speak Tamil or Malayalam but are very knowledgeable and courteous. The stay- it is well maintained, comfortable and the rooms are huge. Food- There isn't a restaurant and it isn't A la carte but depending on your preference, they serve really tasty food in a buffet setting. We booked early morning trekking as well,seen landscape,wildlife,nature,birds etc with help of Mahesh sir.,caretaker was very polite to answer all our difficult questions. I am already planning my next trip!

I contacted this property for enquiry, he seemed to be a stressful person, no patience to respond to my enquiries, I simply asked couples room available, since there are 2 married couples in our gang, he said only for married couples, it's ok then I added 2 unmarried boys will come with us so they require a seperate room, I don't know in what way he understood it he rudely said no we don't provide room for such and disconnected the call, he literally spoiled my mood. By seeing good reviews i contacted them, but it backfired.

With my bikers of 10 people stay in woodhouse for 2 nights. Very good and excellent stay within our budjet. Clean and neat stay with wifi, hot water, parking etc. Highly recommended

The accommodation is simple and sufficient. Location is 100 mtrs Gandhi statue,Valparai town.away from city centre but within vicinity of major attractions and you have access to markets and different types of food choices. At the same time the stay feels like living just beside the jungle and the view from the balcony is absolutely refreshing. But the most remarkable thing about this homestay is it's owners and their hospitality. The owner personally goes extra miles to fulfill the guest's wishes. Foods are prepared as per order and are quite tasty. I'll definitely recommend for families as well as group travellers..Friendly staff and geniune service for travellers. Don't expect more than your budjet.All basic facilities as home is available inside the room.very calm and pleasant place to stay.
