Villa Fair Winds, Sirukundra Estate

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Villa Fair Winds, managed by Briar Tea Bungalows in Valparai. Location The location was incredibly beautiful, with stunning views of the sunrise right from the villa--an ideal way to start the day surrounded by nature. Food The meals prepared by the chef (unfortunately, we forgot his name!) were outstanding. Each dish was delicious, and it was clear a lot of care went into each meal. We looked forward to every bite! Service A big thank you to the caretakers, Mr. Karpaiya Uncle and Mr. Prem, who made us feel right at home. Their warmth and helpfulness added a personal touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. Activities We took the paid plantation jeep ride with Mr. Jagan, which was a memorable experience. The ride gave us a unique view of the tea plantation, and we were thrilled to spot wild elephants, Indian gaur, and sambhar deer during the journey. It was an adventure we won't soon forget. Overall We highly recommend Villa Fair Winds for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat in Valparai. From the warm hospitality to the delicious food and unique experiences, it was a wonderful stay all around.

A colonial bungalow with a wonderful view of tea estate. When we reached, Herd of Elephants (5 Adults, 2 kids) are roaming around. The climate was nice. Butter fruit tree has fully grown fruits, and asked us to pluck them. We were informed that, we will not roam freely after 6PM, as its time for wild animals like Elephant, Indian Gaur to roam around. Good for Family, Groups. This bungalow is not available for Online booking. Food & Service is really good.

If you are looking for a calm and private space for relaxing with your family and friends, then this is perfect choice. A very well maintained villa Surrounded by tea estate with beautiful front yard . Food is nice. Care takers are polite.

After choosing the destination we checked for availability in estate bungalows due to the long weekend all the known places were occupied and finally we got this bungalow details and we booked immediately. Until we reach the place we have no idea how the place will look alike. I would say this is more than what we expected. Fabulous location, well maintained bungalow with 3 bedrooms, 1 big hall with TV , Great antique dining hall and well maintained kitchen. The staffs are very polite and humble. "Mr.Karuppiah" and "Mr.Mahesh" bungalow care taker is very supportive from the day we checked in till check out. "Mr.Nagaraj" chef is a genius in cooking with magical hands. We opted for breakfast and dinner. We almost tasted 30 unique food varieties. All the food varieties were awesome and top notch. "Mr.Viswajeet" Bunglow assistant was very helpful and humble. Even though it is a long weekend, they have adequate staff for support. 3 Families can stay peacefully, happily, joyfully. I would recommend this place for Families and for bachelors there is another bungalow near sirukundra tea factory and it has 3 different room categories. After 7 pm guests were not allowed to go outside the premises and the electric fence would be switched on for safety. Nearby the bungalow there were few places to visit. Check with local people before visiting one. During our visit Most of the places were closed due to heavy rain.

Awesome place to spend time with your family and kids.. I came to stay for a night but as soon as I saw this place I extended my stay. This is old British bunglaw nicely maintained. It has 3 bedrooms all attached. Chef facility is available and he makes really good food. View from the bunglaw is mesmarising.

Exotic location surrounded by tea garden friendly and helpful staffs. Total three rooms and three families can stay with their children very comfortably. I will strongly recommend this bungalow for all.

Awesome!!! Heaven like experience. If you want to spend your holiday in peace with nature... no second thought, just go for it. Food is also delicious, Thanks to Mahesh and Chef for their great service.
