A great place for a family holiday. We all went together and stayed there for a day. The host is quite amiable, and the place is neat and clean. highly recommended, delicious food

Awesome location to enjoy with family and friends. The road conditions are good, but near the property the road is not in a good condition, but we can manage to go on.

The USP of this place is Mr John, senior manager, looking after this property. He will give his life to take care of his guests. It makes up for the lack of decor in room and the upkeep of the property. The pros: 1. Excellent friendly staff, the cook, caretaker etc. 2. Peace and quite 3. Just 3 rooms in this property- they don't give for bachelor's even if one family is there and vice versa 4. Cleanliness 5. The cook makes excellent food and you can ask for anything and they will do it- within the limits of the management 6. Good beds and clean and large toilets with hotwater The cons: 1. Thick hanging phenoyl smell in the rooms and corridors. Makes you feel you are in a basic bus- stand lodge. 2. Vegetarian food- as the estate owners are vegetarian. - Sir,[management] Kindly consider to change this policy, as guests come to enjoy their holiday and food is a very important part of the Holiday experience. 3. Lack of electric fencing. Leopards, Bison, roam this area. Don't let children hang around alone. 4. Peeling paints and old doors. 5. No kettle coffee tea at the room...however the cooks can make anything.

It's not at all worth the price they charge (9K per night). The property is quite old, the linens and pillow covers were dirty, and it seemed like the room was cleaned with some cheap detergent. The room had an unpleasant odor, and we had to keep the doors and windows open for 3 to 4 hours. The windows and doors are in poor condition, with some not opening and others not closing properly. This is a place suitable for a basic stay, and the maximum price should be less than 3K or even lower. It's excessively overpriced for what it offers. On a positive note, the caretakers were very attentive, and the food was good. They were accommodating with our food requests and showed kindness throughout our stay.

My parents and aunt just spent three days here and were extremely pleased with their stay. The service was impeccable, the food super tasty - they catered obligingly and cheerfully to their varying dietary preferences - and the rooms were clean, huge, spacious and comfortable. John Wilmot,Rajesh, Master Mariappan and Gandhi, all took very good care of them. I think this will be an annual visit for them to get away from the Coimbatore heat. Thank you Soul Bungalow.

The manager, John, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. Their recommendations for local attractions were spot on.

This place actually deserves 6 stars out of 5. The house staff led by Rajesh are truly exceptional. They catered to every one of our needs without any hassles and hesitation. Every meal was wonderful and they can cater to diverse tastes, as long as you give them enough of a lead time. The place is beautiful; scenic, peaceful, in the middle of a 28,000 acre tea plantation, away from the madness, filth and traffic of valparai town. It's very well maintained but it's due for a minor refurbishment, due to the age of the building and the weather. It's better to book all the rooms so you can have the entire place to yourselves. Mr John, the manager, deserves a special mention for his out-of-the way service and hospitality. A truly memorable trip and we'll definitely be back.

Nice stay! Staffs: Just wow, they were very much polite and humble, whenever we ask something without any kind of hesitation they do! Special thanks to John, no words to say about him, he treat us like family. Location: its located in amazing location, center of estate. You feel like out of world. Infra and hospitality: i would say its average!
